Nds Prestige Guest House and Suites - by Rocha Prestige

Though we stayed for a short 1 night, loved the reception and stay. We were quite surpised with the included breakfast despite the relatively low price yet it was neat and filling. It was somewhere near the old town so location was decent and the room condition was faultless. We couldn't have asked for more! Really recommend this place.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We had a beautiful suite for 4 nights and everything was perfect. The room is super spacious and clean. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable - I slept like a baby! Bonus points for Vitor, the manager of the guest house who is really a special guy. He did everything he possibly could to make us feel at home. We highly recommend this place and will return as soon as possible.

Above and beyond customer service experience! Me and my friend had a long flight from the USA to Portugal and we did not make it to Portimao until 8pm. Only when we got to the hotel we realized that check-in closed at 7pm. There was no one at the desk to help us and our reservation was already cancelled since we were late per the policy. We called the phone number they have at the door to seek for help. Once management Mr. Nuno got to know about our situation he left his family and friends in the middle of dinner and went out his way to come to NDS Prestige hotel and set up our room after hours. I must say Mr. Nuno went above and beyond our expectations! I am really happy to have picked this hotel for our stay! Thank you!

We spent ages choosing this Portimao guest house, but our expectations of it were not met. It's an odd concept, offering a room in an unstaffed house, that doesn't offer breakfast but also doesn't offer any catering facilities?? We booked a "Superior Triple room with balcony & city view". What we actually got was a clean, well-decorated double-bed room, sp****ly furnished with one chair, no table to sit at. The balcony was a tiny Juliet balcony overlooking a narrow street & the house opposite- not big enough to stand on, let alone sit on, but then, the "city view" was actually a large canvas/photo of old Portimao city,over the bed, not a view of Portimao. Sadly, the advertised roof terrace wasn't offered to us during our stay. That might have saved the day. The house itself is a beautifully restored old Portugese house in a narrow cobbled street, which unfortunately was used as a rat-run by traffic, till the early hours.The house was very clean & well decorated, but without any creature comforts. We'd spent the previous few nights in a comfy hotel in Faro , with a marina view & delicious breakfast, so ND Prestige was a stark contrast. It would be fine for one night, but not for several. The owner met us on arrival, gave us a long run-down of their Covid protocols , then left. We let ourselves out on check-out. (The housekeeper was lovely, we crossed paths briefly a few times, as she let herself in). In short, the accommodation websites (********** in this instance) need to ensure their descriptions of properties meet the reality.

My first time at a “guest house” so not aware of the fact that there is no staff on site whatsoever except for designated check ins/outs. No amenities, no receptionist, no housekeeping, no security, etc. I left a shirt behind by mistake and couldn’t go back to pick it up because the housekeeping staff was on site for only a few hours and the receptionist was on site only when someone was checking in…not for a shift (9-3) for example. Extra firm (hard) beds and no noise protection from guests coming in at all hours. You just have to hope they are polite. Having said that, the property is in a good location and if one is familiar with guest house accommodations, it would be acceptable.

Location of property is paramount. Cute restaurants and stores within walking distance. Reception hours can be troublesome if you had a late flight. Also, there are no USB outlets. My friend and I were in a true bind with the outlets.

A fantastic guesthouse which really feels like your own home. The check in and attention to detail were wonderful whilst the roof terrace is a hidden gem.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay, the whole experience was fabulous, the hotel was in a very good area surrounded with fabulous little restaurants (youll be spoiled for choice 😋) spotless clean beautiful chic bedrooms , owner's are very friendly & helpful and accommodating, there is also a beautiful sun terrace that you can use also.Already booked to go back next year 😎😎

Local bien ubicado. Muy fácil aparcar. El personal muy simpático. La habitación muy grande, es la habitación de un chalet para hablar claro. Con la piscina del hotel. Baño de uso individual, pero ubicado en zona común.. No tiene sitio ni para poner la maleta. El baño con muy pocos amenities, y le faltaba un repaso a la limpieza. Tiene cocina de uso comunitario. El desayuno es muy temprano, aun así muy amables nos pusieron un café . Si fuesen 40 euros le pondría una mejor valoración, pero por 110 euros sería para poner dos estrellas. Pero la verdad q el señor de la recepción fue simpático y por eso le pongo una estrella más de lo q creo que merece por ese precio. Existe la opción de conseguir mejor precio llamando directamente al local, pero eso queda muy bien decirlo después de pagar. Cualquier pregunta sobre qué visitar etc saben aconsejar muy bien. Incluso para comer en la zona, etc.
