Hotel Lago Titicaca needs some serious renovations to claim they are a 5 star hotel. Service at the front desk was not too friendly and the restaurant seemed to follow behind which might require looking at the entire team. They have a property that is capable of being truly remarkable but ownership and management just don’t know how to make that happen. Very sad.

Nice lake view and good location away from downtown. There was loud music/ performance at night (before 11pm) tho

Ох, какой же классный отель. Отлично все, территория, номера, бар, ресторан. Приветливый персонал , внимательный и обязательный. Выполняют все пожелания гостей. Вид из номера просто шикарный. Хороший климат контроль. Отдельно расскажу про ресторан. Туда хочется нарядиться. Очень вкусно готовят, хороший выбор вин. С удовольствием вернулась бы еще раз в это волшебное место!

Love how this hotel is in its own little secluded area, with undoubtedly the best view of Lake Titicaca from Puno. 5 stars for the location, the service, the staff, the view, the breakfasts, the very comfortable bed. 4 stars for the somewhat dated bathroom in our room and the very dated gym area which felt like a corporate hotel from the 90s. Makes me wonder if this hotel was bought fairly recently by the hotel group and is on the list for an overhaul. It's a wonderful hotel, and it has the potential to be truly spectacular if it was just given a little bit of TLC. Tip - definitely pay the extra for a lake facing view. We spent hours just staring out the window, watching the activity on the lake, the colours of the water changing, the bird life, and the the resident alpacas grazing in the grounds. Fantastic. The room itself was thoughtfully designed to maximize the stunning vistas, with large windows that allowed natural light to flood in and frame the picturesque landscape like a living canvas. Each morning, I found myself drawn to the window, captivated by the ever-changing colors of the sky reflected on the calm waters of Lake Titicaca.

We had a wonderful stay at GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca. The hotel commands a stunning view of the lake. Their service is legendary. In particular, Johann, a waiter in the restaurant, offered us the best service we have ever had. Johann is a gem and an immense asset to the hotel.

The hotel has a good location with sunrise and sunset views over Lake Titicaca. It is a large property with sizeable grounds. It is quite outside Puno, so once there your main options for drinking and eating are at the hotel. In it's day it must have been an impressive hotel with the size and facilities. However now it is looking tired and in need of renovation. We were upgraded to a suite with a view over the lake. The room was spacious, the bed was comortable and there were sufficient sockets available to charge devices. The view from the room was great. The bathroom was a decent size but, like the room, the decor and the equipment looked very dated. We had dinner in the dining room and there was a good range of food to choose from. It was reasonably priced. The service was good. The dining room also looked as if it was from another era. We had an ealry departure the following morning. We were told that breakfast was available from 0500. When we arrived shortly after that at the dininng room, which would have had a wonderful view of the sun rising over the lake, we were told that early breakfast was only available in another room downstairs that did not have a view. When we arrived there the breakfast was still in the process of being set up and the one person doing this was clearly not happy about having to do this and was evidently grumpy. More food was still arriving when we had to leave. The selling point for this hotel is its location and the firepits outside to watch the sunset.

The place is very spacious and tidy, are good and comfortable, the staff that attended us were very helpful at all times and were always attentive to our needs. The hotel is located in a really privileged area of the city where it is away from the chaos of downtown and has wonderful views of the sunrise and sunset, we had a nice experience at the bonfire at sunset, we definitely recommend this place to stay

Hotel was great and clean. Staff very courteous and attentive. Had dinner twice and had a great waiter[Yohann], he was very easy to talk to and gave us excellent service (*****). We will definitely recommend it to everybody. Atcheson Fredy and Booked by Karla Atcheson

This feels like a big city international hotel. The major plus is the views over Lake Titicata from most areas of the hotel including bedrooms. Otherwise it was pretty average and feels in need of updating. There was a musty / stale smell in the passage ways & rooms. The hotel is a little out of town so you cannot walk in. The hotel restaurant was fine but nothing special by Peruvian standards. Breakfast was really chaotic at peak times. This was our least favourite hotel out 6 or 7 on the trip hence the 3 stars.

This is a wonderful hotel. You can see sunset and sunrise at Titicaca Lake . If you are a bird lover, going around the island is a nice way to find your friends. Staff at restaurant is very friendly and professional. Mr Hugo and Eduardo at the restaurant were superb, thanks!

The Hotel is ok. Tired but clean. Nice location on its own island. There is an optional sunset experience which is nice but it was not set up by the start time. Great breakfast and good bar. A special thank you to Paul at the bar who was amazing! He made the best Pisco Sours.

The room was way too hot even with a fan. Paul at the bar was great! He made drinks took food orders all with a great smile and positive attitude. The restaurant had to little gluten free options, however the breakfast buffet offered a Gluten Free section and the Quinoa crepes were very good.
