Inn at Haven Harbour

Any good ocean or bay town needs best have good books and coffee if they want five stars from my posts. I rarely rate a place unless it is a four or five. Average places abound, but fours and fives are the backbone of travel. A four or five means you can relax enough to enjoy. Haven Harbor rates a full five. We are staying at Lazerette. It has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room, bedroom and private bathroom with a JACUZZI TUB. Ahhhhhh. AND THEY ALLOW PETS in this suite!!! Staff are excellent. Can't wait for our week to begin!

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend here. We stayed at the Manor House in a room with a small screened-in balcony with a nice view of the water. The room was clean, had a lot of space, and had a nice jetted tub. The breakfast was excellent -- they had some really good options for a continental breakfast, including some hot items. We also got to enjoy the pool -- it was a short walk to the pool, with some options for shade. We saw people headed to town, including some who rode in on the bikes provided by the inn; we decided to walk around the property and have a quieter weekend. We also ate at the Passages bar and the Ark & Dove restaurant - both were good. We enjoyed our stay and would return!

The Inn at Haven Harbour was the perfect spot for a solo mini vacation. I stayed in the Manor House with a beautiful view of Swan Creek and the marina off the Quarterdeck room balcony. Sunsets were visible from that spot and even better from the dock that stretched into the creek. Be prepared to see lots of ospreys, herons, and other marsh critters. It is truly a haven for nature enthusiasts and water lovers. The room overall was spacious and well appointed with mini fridge, TV, dresser, and ample closet space for storing and hanging clothes. The king size bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of it! The attached bathroom was perfect with a separate spa tub and stand alone shower. Botanical body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were supplied which was a nice touch. Breakfast served in a cozy great room with indoor and outdoor seating was a nice way to start the day. Take advantage of the pool, kayaks, and bicycles! Grounds and pool area are nicely landscaped with adirondack chairs, fire pits, rocking chairs and gazebos gracing the property. The Inn is convenient to local restaurants, dock bars, harbor, and beach. Everything is a short bike or car ride away. This was my first visit to Rock Hall. I will surely be back for another stay at Haven Harbour.

Awesome staff that made us feel right at home. A spectacular view of the Swan Creek. Very clean, well appointed rooms and a delicious breakfast! We stayed at the Manor house during the winter but will return when they are in resort mode to use the pools, Kayaks and bikes.

What a devine experience! I was upgraded to the Captains Quarters Suite at the same rate, due to new mattresses coming into the original room! I needed a break from civilization, and Harbor Haven was the perfect place for me and Tobie! Ray and Beth are wonderful, the entire Inn is wonderful, the views are amazing!!! Every detail was well appointed including the bath towels, the pillows, the kitchenette with delicious coffee and the grounds. We will absolutely return, perfectly located 2 hours from north Baltimore. If you’re thinking of a peaceful place with delicious spaces, this is the place to go. We just spent two wonderful nights at the Inn at Haven Harbour. We stayed in the Transom room with a porch overlooking the water. Our annual winter getaway with friends was a total success. Carlos Ruiz, the hotel manager, and Ray were very accommodating especially to such a large group.

Greatly enjoyed our two-night stay in the Forecastle, which features a wonderful shaded and screened balcony, large jetted bathtub, and extremely comfortable bed. We appreciated the crisp linens and nautical decor, 24-hour available hot coffee (and hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and tea), continental breakfast, free kayaks (and lifejackets), free bicycles, and great property with marina, pools, and games. Super relaxing and wonderfully clean.

Visited for one night in early December and we were delighted. Checked in at the marina store (love good marina store), where we later picked up a few gifts. We booked the 'Forecastle' room, which was upstairs and nicely appointed with a porch and view of the water. Had dinner at the Blue Heron Oyster House (recommend) and the next morning visited Chestertown, with its farmers' market and extensive historical district. The staff was helpful and courteous and we are planning a return visit next fall with some friends. We'll look into a day trip sailboat charter the next time as well. Driving through the Maryland Eastern Shore is an added bonus.

This place is a hidden gem in a very small but charming town. Rock Hall in the winter months isn’t a very happening place, but you can still get a sense of the working community of this small Eastern Shore town and a glimpse of what makes them a popular boating destination in the warmer months. For a quiet getaway with lots of special touches, you can’t beat the Inn at Haven Harbor. Comfortable and updated rooms with nice decor, and great views of the Harbor and attached Marina. The property has outdoor seating sprinkled in strategic spots, fire pits, bicycles for riding around town, and a special great room with comfortable indoor seating, TV and games. Fireplaces throughout kept us warm in the cooler December temps. There’s breakfast in the mornings during the busier season; since it was off season we got some vouchers instead for a local coffee house. Shout out to Carlos our host who couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. While you’re on the Eastern shore checkout Chestertown and some of the historic towns in the area.
