The Front desk especially Mr. Travis was very helpful and cooperative. The housekeeping forgot to clean the room one day and Mr. Travis apologised

New Holiday Inn that actually looks brand new and modern. Convenient location 15mins from downtown with no traffic. Avoid highway and go local route if there is. Pretty large parking lot that will be pretty much full later in the night. Street parking (or possibly hotel provided overflow lol) available.

Pros: Check in was easy, hotel is clean and building is secure. My co s really aren’t cons but personal icks: Breakfast pictured a waffle maker and there was no waffle maker. The ice maker is on each floor and it’s weird to operate. I am sure it’s to stop malfunctioning but you need to basically wave the object in front of it to get ice or water. On the Staybridge side you hear the train when it passes through. Eventually you get used to it if you are from a big city like Chicago or NYC but at first you’re like OMG. You don’t hear people in the hallways but the doors are so heavy that you hear every slam. You also hear everything from the people above you. Both hotels the toilet seats are so cheap they slide when you sit on them. I’m less than 200 lbs and considered average size and weight. I’ve never experienced that at a hotel and I was annoyed. I was gone most days by 7:30 but on check out I figured I would sleep in and got an 8:15 wake up from housekeeping asking if I was ready to leave or staying a little longer. There should be a system like other places to communicate when people have checked out. Only difference from Staybridge and Holiday Inn side is the beds are better and there is a kitchenette. Both offer a sofa bed but the one in Staybridge is bigger. I would stay at Staybridge if I returned and I am still deciding if I would return. Not so much about the hotel but the traffic in the area was awful.

I travel enough to know what to expect. My stay at this hotel was mixed and while most employees were helpful there were a couple that should probably not be customer facing. I will start by saying my first complaint may be partly my issue. We booked a weeklong stay through JetBlue Paisley for 209 a night. I then decided after to come in a day early and booked directly through the hotel. When I called I mentioned my week booking and asked if the rate for one night added would be the same and was told it would be. My part? I received the confirmation but did not scroll to the bottom where the rate showed to be over 400 for one night. I assumed what I was told would be the rate. Shame on me. When we arrived and was told the rate I explained the situation and was told that they don’t know what we pay 3rd part bookers and that it was impossible no matter what that I was paying 209 a night even with third party. They would not back down form the high rate and arriving at 11PM I was not feeling like arguing. I was told to speak to the manager which I did and was told he’d bring it to the general manager. Almost a week later I still have not heard back. That’s the first part. As we got to the room the card would not open the door so we went back to desk and they re-programmed it. Went back up and still could not get in. Mention of possible broken lock was mentioned so I asked if we could just get another room and was told they were sold out. Building engineer was called and he determined that room was already occupied. Back to the desk again and they were able to magically come up with another room. Off to a good start and it did not get much better after that. At least one elevator of two was down almost the whole time and one morning both were down. The fire alarm went off at 7AM one morning and I assume it was related to broken elevators as there were signs saying to use stairs which were according to signs on second floor alarmed summoning the fire department and of course setting of alarm. A little foresight on hotels part to maybe disable alarm during the elevator outage may have prevented people walking through an alarmed door that they were told to use. We were also told there would be a 100 dollar hold for incidentals such as parking etc. I was fine with that and we exceeded that by about Thursday by about 20 dollars. They then put a 278 dollar hold on my card for a day or two for the remainder. It was only 2 days!!! I am still waiting for them to release that and for an answer as to why such a high hold. I was told the GM would call me and have left messages and still have not heard back almost a week later. The room itself while billed as a suite was small though that was not an issue as we don’t spend much time in there. It was clean and maid service was good. Hope if you stay here it goes better for you than for us. So much for a relaxing vacation.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in March 2024. Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express seem to be 2 hotels in one with a gym but no pool. We figured the difference is that Staybridge Suites have a small kitchenette in the room which was very useful for us. Our room included a full-size fridge with freezer, cook top, dishwasher, sink, basic dishes and cutlery, coffee machine. Daily hot breakfast buffet was included which is a bonus. The selection was somewhat small but we always found something to eat. This hotel is just outside of Boston but it’s still easy to access downtown Boston. In my opinion, the hotel is well situated as there’s a grocery store down the street, some restaurants, Target, and a pharmacy all within walking distance. The transit station is conveniently a short walk across the street. We bought a 7 day transit pass and took the subway everywhere during our trip, which was cost-effective and less stressful than driving. According to my research, parking in Boston can be hard to find and very costly. I found the subway system easy enough to figure out and if you enter the destination in your phone maps, it should tell you exactly which subway line to take. The only cons I can think of for this hotel: Limited parking as the lot is quite small for the size of the hotel. Parking fee was $15 USD per night. Not located directly in Boston but if you don’t mind the commute, it’s a great option. I recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if I ever return to the Boston area.

The Staybridge Suites at Quincy is a great spot. Reasonabled priced, quiet neighborhood, breakfast included, 5 min walk over a bridge to North Quincy RedLine and a Target. The ride from the North Quincy station to downtown crossing station is 40 mins without having to transfer. From the Downtown Crossing station Boston Common, Little Italy and Beacon Hill plenty of the sights are within 10 min walking distance. And if you are headed to Fenway for a game it’s 65 mins(tops) and 1 transfer to the Green Line, Kenmore Station and walk across the bridge. Lots of free parking on site. I would / will stay here again the next time we come to Boston

Very nice rooms with full kitchens, we especially loved the full size refrigerator and freezer. It’s a short 3-4 block walk to the T red line. There is hot breakfast served every morning, nothing special but we certainly took advantage every day. There is also a gym and laundry facility. If you plan on using the laundry try off hours as there are only 2 washers and 3 dryers. They no longer have the happy hour in the evening but the area is open for use so you can go down and use the nice lounge. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We were there for a week housekeeping would come in every day to empty trash and change out towels if we wished. We would stay here again.

I had a three-night stay in Boston and needed somewhere that I believed to be good value for money, that I could get around without a car. Hotels in the city were very expensive for the dates I was looking for, so I looked for hotels along the subway routes into the city that could be more cost-effective for me. Bring on the Staybridge Suites. I could not have been happier with my stay there! I arrived very early on my first day and wanted to see if I could leave my luggage at the hotel early. They actually had my room ready so allowed me an early check in without fee. The room was great – I was made up! The kitchenette had a full-sized fridge / freezer, along with plates, glasses, cutlery, an oven, microwave, coffee maker etc. The room was very clean and an ample size. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had loads of good quality towels and toiletries. It was spot on! The hotel has a breakfast daily with pretty much everything you could want – hot food (meat, eggs, potatoes, waffles), pastries, cakes, bread (bread, bagels, English muffins), cereal, yoghurt, fruit, etc. I managed to have something different every day and it was all being replenished frequently so you knew the food was fresh. The staff I interacted with during my time here were all friendly – from the staff on the front desk to the staff in the breakfast area. Location wise, it was only a small walk to the subway which was about 15-20 minutes into downtown Boston on the red line. I found the trains to be quite frequent, though could be up to 20 minutes between trains if you just missed one. I was lucky that every time I got to the station, it was only a few minutes until the next one. There are also a number of shops / restaurants in the area. There’s “small” Target, and huge Stop and Shop for people needing groceries, and a little further walk to Hancock Street seemed to have a number of fast-food places / restaurants. One thing of note is that my room was opposite a site where construction was taking place. Work seemed to commence around 7am each day and was quite loud - I imagine it would wake people up who may be wanting a lie-in. I was lucky as I was up at this time anyways, but it's something to bear in mind. I understand the hotel cannot control construction work, so I wouldn't hold it against them (but worth a mention to anyone who does like a lie-in). This hotel was great for my needs, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Was not happy about the housekeeping at all. Had to call up again and again for room clean up and supplies and kitchen and bathroom replenishments as well. The reception staff isn’t friendly at all except the person who checked us in

We’ve stayed at several different Staybridge /Holiday Inn hotels and this one rates very high in our travels. We stayed on the staybridge side and it was nice to have a full sizefridge. Room also had a 2 burner stove top. Kitchen had plates, bowls, cutlery. Breakfast was good, with lots of choices available each day. Rooms and public areas were very clean. Location is great and is less than 10 minutes to the subway system which can take you into Boston in about 15-20 minutes. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There are several different places to eat within walking distance. Neighborhood appeared safe and clean, and we were able to walk to the local restaurants. There is currently some construction next door but it didn’t interfere with our trip. Internet was a bit slow later in evening but not unusable Well worth the money.
