My stay started off fantastic until it wasn't. Unfortunately, the toilet in my room did not flush properly and kept getting clogged. The 1st time it happened I spoke with reception explained the situation and the state of the toilet and asked that they send someone to unclog it. This was done first thing in the morning as I was heading out of the hotel for the day. On my return that evening to my room I found that nothing had been done again I spoke to reception and asked this be sorted out.
Thankfully it was clean when I got back from dinner.
2 days later the toilet was clogged again. Again I speak to reception and again inform them that the toilet is not flushing properly. My stay was a total of 8 days and I did not want to be down every 2 days moaning about my toilet. I requested to be moved to another room. They complied but insisted that I move all my stuff from the 1st room to the new room as soon as possible. Even after I informed them I had an appointment I needed to be at and inquired if this could be handled later today. The lady at the reception then annoyingly asked when I thought that would be! I could not give an exact answer to this as I was not sure exactly how my day would pan out. Bottom line I had to change my room right then to keep the hotel happy. Never mind the fact that I as their guest was been put out!
I really think this could have been handled better. I was disappointed by this hotel as I expect better from the Marriott Brand hotels.
