Premier Inn Lincoln City Centre

From time to time, we get a life-affirming chance to see people at their best, and at the Premier Inn in Lincoln City Centre, I encountered one such experience recently.. The stay at the hotel was wonderful. The bar staff, in particular, did everything they could to help us feel warm and welcomed, and each beemed a smile that simply raised the spirit! Indeed, I felt the need to commend the quality of staff behaviour to the duty manager on my way out. On reaching home, I realised I'd absentmindedly forgotten my wallet, which Id left in the room.i called the hotel, and within minutes, they called back to confirm it was safe and they would send it on. The next day, the Royal Mail duly delivered a well wrapped and secure package. My money (no small amount either!) and other valuables were back with me! The staff at the Premier Inn are simply the best!! They looked after us in every way, and I am so grateful to them for their efficiency and their kindness. The hotel was ideally placed with easy access to the adjacent car park. The room was clean and fresh and of course the staff were fabulous by any measure!' Their role is often pressured, but somehow, the team in Lincoln always wore a smile and a friendly greeting! I'd have no hesitation in commending the place and truly hope one day to return and catch up with the team there!! A huge Thank you is owed to all the staff there but especially to James (! think was his name) the duty manager who was such an impressive figure who I hope will rise up with time..

Lovely room, quiet with a few nice extras; coffee machine, comfortable easy chair and upgraded toiletries and hair/makeup area. Air con excellent and very quiet. Well worth the money.

Very clean and spacious room. Excellent location for exploring Lincoln and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby parking was reasonably priced for a 48 hour stay.

Hotel was great. Comfy bed good room we had premier plus. But the nightmare was the breakfast. , always love a premier breakfast. But was no staff on hardly. Lady on duty was trying her best. Not her fault at all. Staffing issue / cutbacks , quality of breakfast very poor. Bacon pale and greasy , cheap sausages. Not normal ones black pudding soaked in fat , no orange juice. Coffee machine broke. , complained to customer service online and was told. The breakfast was free in the deal we had so nothing we could do I explained it may have been free but it was horrible you are really missing the point , I told them I went out and paid for a breakfast else where , customers stopping in premier. Were also disappointed and that was there first time in a premier which was not good for return custom , we have stopped in premiers all over the country and this was worst ever tbh , a stay at Alnwick a few months ago was very understaffed but at least they go decent quality food out Cutbacks and quality of food will lose repeat. Business , very disappointing

The hotel was lovely and clean. The beds were perfect. I loved the aircon, just what was needed during a heatwave! The room was perfect, the lighting, the gadgets etc. There was only one computer working for check in, the staff member who checked us in could have been a little friendlier, I’d rather use a computer especially as there was no conversation and felt belittled when I asked a question.

My stay at Premier Inn in June 2025 was good overall. The room was good. The breakfast was good. The advice was good from Reception about walking around the Cathedral area.
