Green Mansions Jungle Resort

The service was fab & friendly, the food was really good, the beds were really comfy (although wear ear plugs if you don't want to listen to the rhinos or stray elephant running down the streets early hours). Was an unexpectedly wonderful visit

Excellent location near the jungle with peaceful environment. Room and bathrooms are very clean with all requirements ,bathroom had unique basin and tap designs…beds are comfortable with good condition AC . However pillows are more harder than i expected..No television so i had more time with kids.Kids enjoyed at swimming pool and play zone . Breakfast was excellent with variates . Front desk persons and others staffs was good . Overall our stay was satisfactory

This was a nice hidden gem of a jungle resort. I have never been to a jungle resort before but this was really refreshing to stay there. Our rooms was nice and cozy. We received fresh water bottles every day and could get our room also cleaned. We had one or two cockroaches inside the room yet we heard from our friends that their first room had a whole infestation. At one point we had a geeko inside also. But other than that we were satisfied with our room. The place also had a pool where we could refresh ourselves every day after a whole day of activities. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Maybe it could have some more variety every other day but it was good. You could also get custom made eggs. At one point the staff even remembered how I liked my eggs every morning which was nice. The food in general there was nice. You could order and it would be placed on your room. Prices were average high but affordable enough. When we arrived we got a nice drink and tour. There were many activities you could see at the location also. The staff was also very friendly. Price wise it was not the cheapest and from mid to high. But I am guessing that is expected for a jungle resort. The bugs and animals might be a turn off for some. But other than that I would definitely recommend the place and would definitely want to come again.

First impression gone wrong - I reached here on a Saturday. I was told that they only had a room from Sunday onwards. I was in Chitwan for 3 nights so I was ok with staying elsewhere for a night and 2 more nights here. Next day I reach here. I was told that the rate given yesterday was wrong. Also, I was told that I only had the booking for one night and not two. One of the front office boys, Mr. Siddanth Rana, was impolite and my sister was asked to lower her voice. That was when I lost my patience and told him that in the era of social era, he may want to treat his guests properly. It was not about Rs. 500.. it was only about being honest. The management needs to look into these issues properly as you would not want to lose neither a customer nor a reference to their friends or family. You'd also not want a bad online review. Please train your people well as I don't know who the owner is. I only know this place through the people here.

Nice resort with clean room, nice pool area and good food available at all meal times. The staff were very polite and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay a pleasant one. Perhaps the programme and timings of the game drives need to be reviewed

Awesome place. Bed was so comfy, food great, staff super friendly. The safari walk & jeep safari were both amazing. We were very well looked after and wish we’d have stayed for more than 2 days only.

Nothing is going to good on this place need to training for all the staff member with management too they need to improve all this thing and I will recommend to other as well place is nice but only they have problems from creating by management.

My partner and I had stayed in Green Mansion Jungle Resort for 2 nights. Their package is great at an even greater price. Their package included 3 meals a day, welcome drink, canoeing, jeep safari, village tour, tour to elephant breeding centre, cultural dance with some popcorn. Everything was great from the ambience to the friendly and helpful staff. They only serve buffet in package, however, the staff were kind enough to let me take 1 plate of food for my partner who wasn't feeling well. They even gave us some medication for headache. The buffet keeps changing, we had Chinese, Continental, Nepali and Indian food during our stay. Their pool is clean and instagramme worthy, I was fooled by their entrance which looks saddening, but once we entered a leafy entrance, we felt like we were in a fairy-tale world, with small private cottages and flowers, trees and ponds of fishes. Thank you for creating a memorable vacation for us, looking forward to return soon.

Our stay was really good. Except for one day where there was a local marriage with a lot of music in the village nearby (we were simply unlucky, no responsibility from the hotel) the hotel was really calm and nice. The garden was beautiful and the rooms quite big. The restaurant was also good and the personnel cheerful and really welcoming. Particular highlight of the stay were the excursions. The hotel offer a very big variety of excursions, all very well done (we tried all except elephant riding safari). Our guide Naval was nothing short than exceptional, really nice and knowledgeble. Wifi connection was exceptionally good (it is quite important thing because mobile connection in the area is actually really poor). Jungle Jeep Safari is much better in Community Forest than in Chitwan Park. When you go to community forest you are taken by a hotel and there will be your guide, you will see more animals and you will have more attention. If you go to Chitwan you will see more grass lands, less animals and will go with another guide, qulity is less. Bird watching was amazing. Jungle walk was real fantastic. Tharu Culture Dance was really good. Canoying with crocodile watching was super. If you are sensible to light while sleeping take a mask. Ask the hotel if there is no local wedding is planned as they celebrate more than 24 hours with a loud music non-stop, can hear inside your room like a disco.
