The rooms were really nice, however my experience with the staff overshadowed my ability to appreciate the property.
I booked the property thru Orbitz. In the interim I received an email offering me an upgrade for around $28. I chose to upgrade my room and charged the upgrade to my credit card.
When I arrived, the young lady at the desk proceeded to check me in. I showed her my reservation and verified with her THREE times the amount she was to take out from the card. She agreed, but when I got to the room, my bank had texted me that they had taken more than double the amount.
I called back to the front desk to inform them of their error and the young lady said she would talk to her manager and get back to me, she never did.
So in the morning, I go to the front desk to get it straightened out and the young man there was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. He yelled at me and wouldn’t even LOOK at my evidence or listen to me. I video taped him so that I would have evidence. I am SHOCKED that they would have someone with such disdain even work with the public. When he found out I was videotaping him his WHOLE demeanor changed and he tried to backtrack.
The customer service told me that the hotel fraudulently charged an additional $58 per night without my consent.
My job requires me to travel to a a different city every weekend and I have stayed in different properties all over the WORLD! I have never been treated with so much disrespect and contempt
