A beautiful hotel ideal for couples and families with older children. Friendly and welcoming staff , lovely clean rooms with great air conditioning. Situated a stones throw from a lovely beach with its own section of sun beds free to use for hotel visitors . Waiter service on the beach if you need this , provided by a really lovely lady on hand to help she is so efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this lovely hotel and will definitely visit here again in the future.

Comfortable beds in well equipped rooms. We stayed at the Aegean Pearl for 10 nights, we all enjoyed the hotel and the lovely team who work there. Check in was very quick and pleasant We ate at the pool cafe most days, the menu was perfect for lunch and the team there were very efficient and friendly - its reasonably priced. Breakfast has a lot of options, everything is kept replenished and fresh and again the team at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. We spent quite a few days on the beach just across from the hotel, bar service is provided by a super friendly/professional lady called Joanna. Beach towels are provided by the hotel and are picked up/dropped off at reception. Big shout out to Reta and George at the evening pool bar, good fun and friendly. We had two body massages in the time we were there, highly recommend, go at the beginning of your holiday as you will most definitely want to go again! Entertainment is enjoyable, finishes up around 11pm so as not to disturb residents. We would stay again, great location , 25 min walk into Rethymno.

We had a wonderful stay at Aegean Pearl in Rethymno. The hotel was very clean, the food was tasty and fresh, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to Mrs. Popi who works at the restaurant – she was absolutely amazing! So kind, polite, helpful and sweet – she really made our meals extra enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in front of the beach and close to everything you might need – shops, cafés, and other services are all just a short walk away. We would definitely love to come back!

An extremely nice place with super services, friendly staff, all the facilities I imagined I would need. Comfortable and clean room with balcony, air conditioning, TV, safe, coffee machine, bath tub, etc. Various trips and activities available at the lobby office. The overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Nice program every night at the hotel's terrace. The lovely beach included sun benches and umbrellas, beach towels, bar and snacks services. Warm sea water but quite high waves in some of the days. Nice and clean swimming pools are also available.

Stayed for 11 nights at the end of September beginning of October. The weather was perfect wall to wall sunshine. The hotel is clean and comfortable with lovely rooms. Staff are friendly and do a good job especially Poppi, Anna and others in the restaurant who deliver great service with a smile. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet with a view of the small pool. The room was spacious and kept immaculately clean by the hardworking staff. The beds comfy and we slept well. We stayed half board, at breakfast everything you could think of, both hot and cold options (ps toaster needs replacing). Dinner very good range of food including Crete street food, Greek dishes, grilled meats/fish, pasta, delicious puddings and much more. Not a huge selection but very tasty and you won’t go hungry. Wine reasonably priced. We enjoyed the flat walk to Rethimno which took about 20/25 minutes with coffee shops and bars on the way if you want to take a break. Rethimno wow what a great place, you can easily spend an entire day wondering around - historic sites, lovely harbour, old town. We had dinner at the harbour (Seven Brothers) fantastic setting, great atmosphere, however food average at the best. Back at the hotel, there’s a nice size pool with comfy sun beds and a smaller pool at the back of the hotel. We found that guests from the sister hotel next door were using and even reserving the sun beds, which was unfair to me. Due to this we used the beach across the road where the beds are free and plentiful so no problem, but this does need sorting by the hotel management. There’s entertainment at the hotel each evening however unable to comment as we visited the local bars or went into town. At the time we stayed there was a mix of nationalities. I would say this hotel suits middle age/older adults. A few local travel agents where you can arrange day trips for reasonable prices. Much cheaper than Jet2. All in all a great holiday, lovely hotel and a beautiful town. Would recommend and return.

Stayed here with my mum in September for our first *proper* holiday in the sun in over 20 years… put a lot of thought into where we’d stay once we’d decided on Crete and glad we picked Pearl Hotels. We ended up staying in the Aegean Pearl which shares some of the facilities with the Pearl Beach Hotel. The room was spotless, facilities were great and there was plenty space for us to both get ready comfortably - though we were glad we had 2 bathrooms which was a perfect bonus! Unfortunately my mum had hurt her back just before our holiday which meant we spent a bit more time in the hotel than we planned to. Thankfully there was a great selection of food - even for fussier people like us and we ate well every day. The staff in the restaurant especially were so kind and Anna is amazing her customer service is 10/10! There’s also a good entertainment program and clean (but freezing cold swimming pools) we stuck to the beach across the street. There was a heavy rain storm on one of our days so we went down to the spa in the afternoon which was nice but there’s so much to do in town we probably wouldn’t do it in the better weather - again staff so kind! The city centre is about a 15-20 minute walk, there’s a hop on/hop off bus which goes from a little further along the street into town and also a taxi rank across the road which costs about €6 to town. Only 2 small things which could be better (apart from a heated pool…) the shower curtain didn’t quite reach the floor so water trickled out and the air con could be colder as we found it quite hot at night … even a fan to borrow would have been ideal. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better experience and can’t wait to come back this year.
