Casa Antica

The location was excellent, in the centre of town, close to all restaurants, bars and a short walk to the beach. The quite back streets of Rhodes offering a quite oasis in the middle of the city. Accommodation was excellent with really comfortable beds and room amenities. Will definitely come again.

We had a bad experience in Casa Antica. First we booked Corto Maltese, where: 1. was not clean 2. dangerous stairs We do not liked that apar**ent. The photos are not correct. We asked directly the guy which is from "customer service" an other available appar**ent for us. To us was shown the Matisse. It is in the building opposite Corto Maltese on the grond floor. When we came there all windows of appar**ent were open and inside was much cleaner than in the Corto Maltese. We were very tired after night flight and decided firts to go outside to eat and then to take a rest. This appar**ent has not the safe. We closed good all windows before we leave it. When we came back I felt very bad smeel of urine in the sleeping room. Because we were tired I thougd first that it is some thing wrong with me. But with me was every thing ok. I understood it later. The mattress was stinky. The discussion with cleaning lady about it was meaningless and worthless.We leaved that appar**ent on second day with very bad feeling. The ouwners I never seen. And the guy from "customer service" was completly uninteresting why we are leaving. On the windows no mosquito nets. The buthroom has bad ventilation, seems like there is no ventilation. Tha cat of Casa Antica is walking every were, he tryed many times to come in to appartament from the windows and entree door. But he is not one, there are more cats. Plus point: location.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel is close to every touristic point of Rhodes. You can go everywhere like old town, elli beach good restaurants by walking even ferry harbor. It is a very good car rental called Margaritis is 50 mt far away from the hotel. Cleaning is average, They have changed sheets and towels only one time during our 6 nights accommodation. We would like to thank very kind lady Athene for letting us stay at hotel till our ferry time.

Our family took two rooms for a short stay in Rhodes Town before hiring a car and exploring the south of the island. We wanted to get away from most of the tourists and Cash Antica was the perfect place to do this. Such a lovely little area of town and the town has been sympathetically restored, with well appointed rooms and a charming little courtyard area with orange blossom blooming when we visited in April. The management were accommodating and friendly and helpful. We slept very well and enjoyed exploring little places to eat nearby.

Lovely building in such a peaceful, pretty street. Conveniently only minutes from bars and popular restaurants. An enjoyable short walk to beaches in one direction or the harbour, new and old towns in the other. We stayed in Klimt which has a small but perfectly formed kitchenette and bathroom, a private terrace (adjacent to the communal if you wanted a bit more room) for al fresco breakfasts etc. The living/ bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Large, comfortable bed, plenty of storage for 2 and a seating area with flatscreen TV if you wanted it. Double aspect windows with quaint shutters (great to also find a proper, powerful hair drier in the room as I have long, thick hair and most hotel driers are useless) Special touches were the generous welcome pack in the kitchen including crackers, honey, jam, as well as a good choice of tea and coffee for your arrival. Always plenty of clean towels as well as slippers for you in the bathroom. Met on arrival for easy check in and hosts available to contact if you needed anything. Room kept discretely cleaned and perfectly kept on a daily basis. Would recommend to anyone who does not want a run of the mill characterless block of a hotel room. This hotel was quaint, quirky and very homely. Would stay no-where else if I returned to Rhodes. Se efcharistó pára polý Casa Antica xx

I've been there twice this summer but 4 times in total. This place is becoming my home in Rhodes, every time I go on a business trip or vacation. I can tell it was the best place to stay and combine work and rest. Very quiet and peaceful location, walking distance from old town and the beach. Clean and comfie rooms, as I have stayed In Klimt, and Picasso rooms. I have to mention especially about the sleep , because is my main issue usually, (as I have sleeping problems), I have had the best sleep on the ccomat mattresses and clean sheets, and of course quiet street!!! Highlights, the cats, the nice balcony, and the long evening walks ! Excellent service and amazing hosting....like being home. Beautiful smiles and lovely souls! Recommended 100%.

There is a beautiful a**osphere in this Hotel. Very clean and lovely. It´s also super nice located, everything is close. The hosts are just amazing people. We will come again for sure! See you soon!!!

Piccolo e delizioso albergo nella città vecchia di Rodi. Personale molto gentile e premuroso. Le camere sono molto silenziose e pulite dotate di accesso a bellissime terrazze attrezzate con tavolini e sedie per fare colazione o mangiare. Il piccolo appartamento é dotato anche di cucìnino. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
