Trastevere's Friends

I only stayed one night in transit to another location. Communication with the hotel was great. They offered to arrange a taxi to pick me up at the airport, and since my flight arrived in the evening this was very convenient. The price of the taxi was quite reasonable. Check in was easy. The room was simple but comfortable and clean. It had a nice balcony that was great to have after a long day of traveling. Via de Trastevere is right nearby with a number of dining options. Breakfast in the morning was very good. It was a European breakfast- coffee, rolls, yogurt, pastry. It’s not bacon and eggs, but it was plenty for me, and served in a pleasant environment. I had a few hours on my hands and my host Lorenzo was kind enough to let me leave my luggage after I checked out. I ended up leaving my phone charger at the hotel after I checked out and Lorenzo kept it and let me pick it at my convenience. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Rome. The location is great and away from the throngs of tourists.

This is one of the best Air BnB’s we stayed in while on a one month visit to Italy. Lorenzo and his wife would make us breakfast and even toasted my Gluten-free bread. We had an outside patio area. Very Quiet for been so close to a busy street. I will return if life allows!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Rome! Lorenzo was the consummate host, checking in with us periodically by email even before our trip, and he was there every morning to inquire about our plans and to offer advice and suggestions about getting around the city and places to visit. You'll be handed keys to your room and the B&B so you can come and go as wish. Our room featured a large comfortable bed, a spacious renovated bathroom and a lovely balcony where we sat enjoying the morning and evening throughout our stay. The B&B is located in a condominium building, so you get the feel of really being in a home rather than a hotel. There's a pasticceria at the end of the block and a pizza and panino restaurant just a few steps beyond that. Grocery stores and pharmacies are all nearby. It's only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the popular heart of Trastevere. However, that area of the neighborhood is really quite crowded with tourists. If you're looking for a more relaxed vibe, then stay on the same side of the Viale di Trastevere as the b&b and you'll find many excellent out of the way restaurants and a more chill atmosphere. We walked across the Tiber on several of the bridges adjacent to the neighborhood to reach such sites as the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and Piazza di Venezia, but the bus stop and a taxi stand are all conveniently nearby (unfortunately, the tramline was shut down for upgrades during our visit). We consider ourselves fortunate to have found such a perfect place to stay for our first visit to Rome and we would definitely return! Grazie mille, Lorenzo, e alla prossima!

Our stay at trasteveres friends. Rooms The rooms were spacious modern and clean with a very comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and power outlets. There was a safe and a mini fridge with cold drinks and space to fit more that we had bought. The room had a TV in which was nice. The room we got had a lovely small balcony with a table and chairs for sitting out in the sun. The bathroom was clean and well equipped and the shower was great. Location The hotel is located in the centre of the trastervere district. It was only a 15-20 minute walk from the train station which was direct from Fiumicino airport. The hotel is in an ideal location to walk to all the major tourist attractions. We walked to the Colosseum area in about 30 minutes and the same to the Vatican. There are plenty of very nice coffee shops and restaurants situated close by along with supermarkets and other shops. The hosts Before we even departed for our trip we were contacted by Lorenzo who runs the hotel. He was extremely helpful over text regarding the trains we should take and the directions to get to the hotel. After arriving and checking in we were guided around the hotel and the room. Lorenzo also gave us a tourist map and marked on the best way to get to the major attractions which was very helpful as it was out first time in Rome. Lorenzo was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and showed genuine interest in were we had visited each day on our trip etc. 10/10 Breakfast Each day we were served a breakfast that consisted of pastries, bread, yoghurt, jams, spreads, orange juice, tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for a good day of sightseeing. An extra thumbs up for Lorenzo's coffee. It was so so good. Overall Overall I would not hesitate to stay at trasterveres friends again. We were made to feel so welcome and set up for our trip and I could not fault the hotel. Thank you again to trasteveres friends for their great hospitality and we hope to see you again soon.

the place is just a bus/tram station away from the busy streets of rome but we prefer walking :-) :-) (should i put it in one phrase it reads: near the center of rome) ...a few blocks/steps away from the apartment is a nice night-life area for chilling and relaxing after a busy day exploring the city, or maybe a glass of wine in their cozy balcony while enjoying the sound of silence. i feel the true hospitality from the owner of the place. the room is clean at its finest!

Das B&B Trastevere's Friends hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Da wir mit dem Auto unterwegs waren, war ein guter Parkplatz sehr wichtig - direkt vor der Haustüre sind genügend und sichere Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Bad sehr modern, der Balkon super gemütlich und es gab elektrische Außenjalousien, man konnte also auch ein bisschen länger, ungestört vom Sonnenlicht, super schlafen. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll zubereitet und die Auswahl reicht vollkommen. Das B&B liegt in einem Studentenviertel, daher sind günstige und wirklich gute Lokale in Gehweite. Es dauert zwar etwas länger um ins "Zentrum" zu kommen aber das war für uns gar kein Problem.

Tutto molto pulito, camera molto nuova, aria condizionata, cassaforte, tv, connessione wifi, balcone. Il proprietario è molto gentile e premuroso. Si trova a 400 metri dal Ministero dell'Istruzione. Se proprio dovessi suggerire un miglioramento, l'offerta della colazione.

Lorenzo es un gran anfitrión. En todo momento estuvo atento, amable y dándonos ideas de lugares de Roma que visitar, y el transporte que teníamos que coger. Aparte los desayunos, incluidos en el precio, de gran calidad y variedad. Y si hay algo que no pudiera comer él nos daba otra opción. Todo genial.
