Made a last minute booking to stay the night after touching down in Gatwick at night with a migraineq, not knowing how isolated the place was. Its was dark and eerily quiet to get to, room was without heating and the hot water kettle was rusty and peeling. Still for the price, a very decent place to near the airport that offers a phone to directly call for United cars shuttl

Brilliant little place had the basics not much else but nice clean bed to sleep and nice view of the approaching aircraft at Gatwick. Little bit of mold in the shower but not so bad it was the end of the world. Nice and friendly staff and tea and coffee provided.

Service is goed. Ik had pech ivm het slechte weer waardoor internet het het niet deed en ik de kamer niet kon openen met met mijn kaart. Ik kon wel mijn kamer binnen met hulp van de medewerker. Dit heeft even geduurd voordat het werd opgelost. Prima bed.

So carpet was filthy, muddy footprints. Silver fish in shower tray and light fitting. No heat in the room, slept with light on. Disgusting, you have been warned... 😔

Big room, clean comfy bed. Broken dirty tiling in shower, poor water flow to shower,broken bathroom light switch, one bedside lamp with no shade, broken radiator valve ( I fixed this so I could sleep without the window open) Whole thing generally unloved. The poorest continental breakfast I can ever remember. I actually didn't see a soul in the morning. Despite claiming to have a bar and a restaurant there were neither. You can probably gather that I am unlikely to return

This place must make a huge amount of money for very little effort. So for gods sake, do some basic maintenance and show that you care for your customers! No mirror in the bathroom, shower control not working, giving only scolding hot water. Grubby carpet, linen and horrible paintwork. No customer service and damaged fencing in the car park does not inspire any sense of security. The place has an enormous amount of potential for nice getaways or short stays if only guests were not taken for granted.

After reading some reviews my expectations were low but very pleasantly surprised. Very clean, well maintained, friendly receptionist. Everything we needed for an overnight stay before a flight.

The room was huge with a separate living room but a tiny ensuite, no heating and no hot water on the toilet sink. It was a cold day/night so asked if there was a issue with the heating and been told no but clearly all the radiators was cold as it can be, was offered a notice small electric fan heater which worked for about 5min then off and on so not great, they replaced it with similar one which still noicy and not good for the size of the room. The morning just before check out no breakfast set up so I asked to a lady where would they serve the breakfast and she asked "im not been told there was anyone for breakfast, as you paid for breakfast?" I told her yes on ******* and she managed to get some bit out so I could have breakfast, the dinning room again was cold and not nice as no much choice for breakfast. No one around for check out so just dropped the key in a box and left... Would not recommend in winter as it's a cold property and it's more like a B&B then a hotel... In summer or Spring maybe nice if you need just a night as it's close to the airport but no A/C, heating or lifts and lots of steps to bare in mind if you have luggage... Sorry but not a great experience and only being honest.

I only needed somewhere basic to stay whilst I sat exams at CAA Gatwick. This hotel doesn't take payments using a card machine, it feeds them through a web portal. I had hoped to pay with my phone. After paying online, the hotel insisted it hadn't gone through (and the portal was unclear). My bank app clearly showed a payment, but the hotel insisted I "try again". The following day, I was locked out of my room and still they insisted I "try again" to pay. So I paid twice. No receipt, no invoice. Please, invest in a card terminal. The hotel is basic, tired-looking, it's fine as a cheap stay but prepare to be charged double and wait for your money-back. I wanted a stress-free stay to assist with my exams - instead I was fretting over payments. Avoid.

I cancelled my stay but the day after I was due to stay found that there is illegal activity going on there.

Expensive to get a taxi from and return to the airport, cost more than the room.
