Wagon Wheel Motel

It was a comfortable stay and the front desk manager was lovely. There is a wonderful trail right next to the motel, restaurants nearby. Easy driving distance to Portland or Portsmouth.

The management was great. We arrived late and there was no hot water. Management found the problem and had everything taken care of.

Staff is super kind, rooms are big and worth the price. The only issue is that the walls are thin so you hear everyone in the adjacent rooms as well as outside. Still would stay again.

Spotlessly clean, don’t be put off by the older motel style. My picky husband was very impressed. amazing value

Great place stay! Loved the fun decor in our cabin. Extremely clean and neat. Kitchen area worked well for us. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed on the ground floor of the main hotel (not the cottages). The room is small and had a strong/bad smell. The air conditioner was SUPER loud (old?) which made it hard to sleep. Windows did open but they were small, dirty and old and no air circulation. Nice size fridge to store food if you’re staying a few days. Small TV which was fine for the limited use. A small table and 2 chairs in the room. Beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable. There were no chairs outside our room, however, many of the other rooms had chairs to sit outside. Would have used them if they were there. We didn’t use the pool but saw some kids swimming. It looked nice - it’s right in front of the motel and near the road so that area might be a bit loud. They do not come and clean the room or give fresh towels each day unless you ask. The bathroom was dirty (old and grungy) and outdated. Shower didn’t work well and we had to play with the handle a lot to get it to work.

You could put out more soap. one for shower and one for the sink, other than that we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is kind of dated, room was clean service and exterior of building was run down. The room gad a foul oder and bathroom dated one little packet of shampoo for two people no local tv channels just fire tv
