Premier Inn Luton South (M1, J9)

When we arrived at the hotel there was no one on the desk so we rang the bell. In total it took 3 times for the man to decide to come and sign us in. On the way to our room we were met with an extremely musty stench throughout the corridors which made it feel already very unclean. Upon our room arrival we discovered yellow sticky drips down all of the walls and a very unclean bathroom overall. Although the beds were comfy, after a short rest I stood up to discover a happy family of 3 large spiders in the corner of the room. My friend was able to grab one of them with intention to throw it out the window however when she went to move the net curtain the pole fell down on her head causing quite the drama following our spider situation that only got worse. It was at that point we discovered another spider in the net curtain and resorted to calling her dad from another room to remove the 3 we still had as any fearful teenage girls would do. I then became grateful my suitcase weighed too much so I had a sandal in my bag to use at my disposal- there was another on on the wall and by the door. Further across the evening another two were spotted crawling across my friends leg IN our bed. One also crawled out the toilet leaving two teenage girls trembling with newly developed arachnophobia. Overall the uncleanliness and horrific amount of spiders that appeared throughout our one night stay could never convince me to stay here again. The vending machine was good and my water was cold🙏🏻🙏🏻 however this positive could not get me to return. *While writing the review I discovered another one that nearly sent me into a panic attack- this has put into into double digits of how many we've come across.

When I arrived I had to wait in reception for a long time until the man felt ready to come out, I could hear the buzzer but was still ignored. Then had to repeat this 3 more times when I needed help with the vending machine that had taken my money and to book breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms are very out dated. Breakfast was lovely and the lady working that morning was great.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. Good location close to the highway and not far from the city. Very nice service at the reception. Jonab was very helpful and helped with luggage. Highly recommended.

Clean, good value for money and good accessibility for a wheelchair. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient location just off the M1 yet not too noisy. Room was a little tired and needed refreshing. Accessible rooms are carpeted which made use of the hoist very difficult

The room was clean and comfortable, everything was made available! The bed was cosy. Staff were nice, welcoming and friendly. Parking was easy and convenient. Very happy with our stay ❤️

I would like to say a very big thank you to Nilima and her team, including Sandra on reception for their very warm welcome. I stay with Premier Inn often. Nilima's attention to detail is second to none. She had popped some fruit teas in my room as she knows I don't drink tea or coffee. How incredibly thoughtful! The hotel is clean, plenty of parking and just off the M1, so very convenient. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
