Pandora Hotel

5 ⭐️ staff and service. The hotel overall is lovely, it is dated in some places but very clean and well presented and maintained. I pointed out to Will and Trond on reception a couple of issues with my room (as constructive criticism, not a complaint) that my bijou single room has the smallest shower unit and toilet space I have ever seen on my travels, it is not suitable for a large person; and a small fridge in the room would be nice to keep drinks cold. The staff are amazing, nothing was any trouble or inconvenience to them, they helped make my stay very enjoyable. I had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely housemaids (apologies ladies, I didn’t get your names), Phil, Fabio, Dev, Damon, Shaffi and Marcio; you all do a grand job 👍 😊 The veggie/vegan menu is limited, Marcio very kindly arranged with the chef for me to have avocado every morning for breakfast, thank you Marcio and chef, this was very much appreciated (and delicious). I also visited The Marton guest house further up the road, it is the sister hotel to The Pandora, I met newly appointed manager Josmely, a lovely young lady; good luck Josmely in your new adventure at The Marton. I would totally recommend The Pandora, I hope to revisit again when Harolds Bar is up and running.

An excellent 3 star hotel. Very welcoming; warm and friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Hotel is in very good condition and looks as if it has been freshly decorated for the new season. Wonderful gardens which are perfect for relaxing on the chairs outside. Very well situated with a five minute walk to the centre of town. Plenty of high quality restaurants nearby. This hotel ticks all the boxes! However, please be aware that the hotel is on a steep hill. We are in our mid 70s and managed the walk up and down daily. If arriving/departing with suitcases, a taxi would be a good bet! We had a lovely stay at the Pandora Hotel.

Wonderful stay in a lovely hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Lovely view from or room and the dining room with its view to the garden was a delight. The location for us was perfect although the hill and the stairs may not suit evryone. Lovely ambiance throughout the hotel.

A spotlessly clean hotel with friendly staff, lovely food, comfortable beds, cannot find anything negative to say about this wonderful hotel. The staff are very helpful, nothing is too much for them, the rooms are so clean,light and airy. There was so much choice for breakfast and I must say their orange juice is lovely😀😀😀

What a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, good bedrooms..we had a view of the port. Breakfast very good..cooked to order. Food in bar excellent as it was in the restaurant. Lovely garden. Staff were brilliant. It is up a hill, easy walk down to the port, bit of a trek up, but doable and you get used to it. Easily resolved with a taxi. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Hotel staff amazing. Very helpful and caring when I needed to change room because of a disability. Staff always attentive without being intrusive. Food delicious,good quality, well presented and served promptly. Room was great. Very well appointed with all amenities included. Beautifully decorated and great views as a bonus. Central and good car parking. Beautiful garden at rear. A perfect place to stay. Could not fault it in any way.

We booked the Pandora Hotel for five nights but ended staying six due to a ferry cancellation. This is a lovely hotel in a quiet location (we had a great stay here), with several indoor sitting areas as well as a nice garden setting. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. We were at the top of the hotel (no lift) and had to be mindful of not banging our heads because of the beams and sloping ceilings but this was not an issue; the view from the room (room 20) is wonderful, with views of St. Peter Port harbour, Herm and Sark. The hotel offers half-board in their restaurant. We didn’t book half-board originally but ended up having dinner at the hotel each evening. Each evening, three main courses were offered (different choices each evening) and a choice of desserts. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were welcoming, polite and very helpful. The hotel is located part way up a hill from the centre of St. Peter Port and is quite steep in places. This was not an issue for our stay but we chose to use a taxi to take us to the ferry terminal, rather than pull cases along some uneven, and in place, narrow pavements. Would we stay here again? Most definitely.

Fab hotel, with a great garden and exceptional service. The staff are brilliant, and cannot do enough for you. You can sit out on the terrace, or climb down a bit to the fantastic terraced garden. You can just walk down to the pier front from the hotel and find all the fabulous restaurants there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This is a very good hotel. I could not fault it. The staff were all helpful, friendly, and always smiling. I’m always apprehensive going into hotels as my wife has a nut and sesame allergy, but as soon as the staff were informed they could not have been more helpful, every mealtime a member of staff would go into the kitchen and find out if anything was unsafe for her to eat. The restaurant was bright, airy, and clean, as was the bar. The garden was a well tended, terraced sun trap. The food was excellent, as was the service. The crowning glory was the view from our room, right out over St Peter Port harbour, about a ten minute walk away. We are both looking forward to staying there again.
