La Four Seasons

Location: This property is about 15-20min away from central Yercaud. Very peaceful surroundings and beyond the property is heavily forested. Totally silent and no noise during the day. Flip side of this is there are no restaurants nearby for dinner besides the one inside the property. Property: They have 29 rooms (in fact 29 villas) spread across with a restaurant on one end and open bonfire place at the other. Lot of swings, seating areas and artificial ponds are setup ***** the pathways. There is a place for a stream as well. But the stream is apparently only turned on upon request from guests (I don't follow why a common amenity which will be appreciated by all has a dependency on request) They do have a swimming pool and kids play area as well. Small children will appreciate the swings and play area. Some of the swings for adults were in a poor condition and could do with some fixing. The ponds are also in need of maintenance and except one, the rest had little to no water and lilies in them. Parking: The entry road to the property is where you would have to park in a linear fashion and that is a undulating stretch. Not a problem to find place and the staff are super helpful. Rooms: Super super spacious. And for me, this was the best feature of the property. Since it is villas for all, there is ample space inside especially for families with children. Even the bedroom has plenty of place beside the bed. They have extra beds placed as well. The washroom could do with some maintenance - the cloth hook was loose, bucket was dirty and washroom had some insects. All villas have a terrace with some seating. Again, this is something children would enjoy. Amenities: Swimming pool would be very busy in summers, I can imagine. The play area was loved by the kids. Indoor play area is combined with reception and it has a bunch of games. Ideal for small kids up to 5 years as there are toy car slides and vehicles of various sizes. They do have a common library with many books but a separate room for reading would be appreciated for silence away from the kids playing. Some of the items are in need of upkeep - Carrom coins and chess pieces missing. Restaurant: This in my opinion is the place requiring attention. Buffet breakfast is included and lunch/dinner is a-la-carte. They have 2 restaurants but only 1 is functional. It can seat around 32 people across 6 tables. This typically fills up as families come so coming in late will mean waiting for a table. Once you sit and place an order, I observed it took a minimum of 45 minutes for food to arrive (they advise 30-40min on the menu) but in most cases it takes a good 1 hour for items to be served. The front end service is pretty fast but the delay is due to the backend. After staying 3 days, I noticed many families see the delayed service and order room service for dinner. As such, when folks come in-person, the kitchen has a bunch of room service orders to fulfill and they appear to prioritise those ov

Wonderful experience with La four seasons. Nice and Clean rooms with enough space. Kind staffs and good hospitality given. Indoor play areas available. Pool are clean and enough spacious. In summary, nice place for family to spend calm and peacefully time

Wow,great and natural friendly resort staffs is absolutely awesome my children and my family enjoyed a lot...... again we planned for December..
