UNBEATABLE LOCATION We are peacefully located just two blocks from the heart of the downtown Salida. This is the ideal location for exploring Colorado’s largest historic district. Take a stroll downtown to check out various art galleries, breweries, restaurants, shopping district and summer festivals. An endless list of outdoor activities are within arm’s reach of this property! In the winter, you will be within 20 miles of Monarch Mountain for prime skiing and snowboarding. During the summer and winter, explore a variety of hiking, running and mountain biking trails, accessible within three blocks. Summer months offer adventurous opportunities. For a fun afternoon, grab a cold one at a local brewery and catch some live music at Riverside Park. The river walk is just one block away where you can enjoy swimming, and inner tubing. For a bigger river adventure, join an outfitter for a rafting trip through the scenic Royal Gorge or Brown’s Canyon. When the weather is nice, relax on the front porch while gazing at the Sangre De Cristo and Saguache Ranges, including the 14,000-foot Collegiate Peaks. Back inside, the well-equipped kitchen has all the essential cooking tools, so you can whip up tasty meals and snacks throughout your stay. These home-cooked meals can be enjoyed in the adjacent dining area or out on the back patio, featuring a covered outdoor table, bbq grill and a small flower garden. THE ONLY BATHROOM This full en-suite bathroom is located in the second bedroom and is shared with the guests staying in the master. We get it; this is potentially an awkward location for the only bathroom. Our guests comment that the house is Comfortable, Cozy, and Clean.
