Gentle Hide Designhotel

This boutique hotel has a great location close to the old town and many restaurants, shops etc. We stayed here for three nights and got even upgraded to the garden suite that has its own entrance from the courtyard. The suite is beautifully designed and everything looked new and clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly the whole time and made our stay memorable. The breakfast buffet was also very well laid out and had many options as well as eggs cooked to order. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Salzburg!

I stayed at Gentle Hide in Salzburg for just one night, but it was an exceptional experience. The hotel has a great emphasis on details, from its thoughtfully designed interiors to the small, personalized touches that make a stay truly special. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a personalized message and a thoughtful welcome gift, which immediately set the tone for a warm and inviting experience. At check-out, there was even another small gift—an unexpected but delightful touch. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, making you feel instantly welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was another highlight. The coffee was excellent, and freshly made eggs in different variations were available on request. There was a fantastic selection of fresh bread and pastries, a variety of cheeses, vegetable dishes, avocado, and fresh juices. Every item felt carefully curated, maintaining the hotel’s focus on quality and detail. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the city center, making it easy to explore Salzburg. I also appreciated the 24-hour access, which added extra convenience. Overall, Gentle Hide exceeded my expectations in every way. The attention to detail, personalized service, and thoughtful extras truly set it apart. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Gentle Hide for six nights. The hotel opened earlier this year and surpassed all the positive reviews as a special boutique hotel, thanks to the personal touches by owners Vivienne and Alex. The hotel is centrally located in Salzburg, about fifteen minutes from the airport, and ten minutes from the train station. Most of the major attractions are within easy walking distance. We found a free walking tour which began less than a two minute walk from the hotel. The room was good-sized, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet with meats, cheeses, juices, eggs to order, and other fare was very good. There is also a bar which offers a nice way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff and service at the hotel were outstanding. The best part of our stay was being treated like family by Vivienne and Alex. They are on site much of the time and take pride in their hotel. They were very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you.
