Located in a busy urban area. If you’re looking to have fun and around the city, this is definitely the place for you. The small hotel works really hard to try to cater to their clients. Visiting from Boston and found everyone here to be super friendly and nice. Especially the night watchman Joseph

Great property. Provided lots of recommendations for sights in town and traveling to Verona.

Comfortable, clean accommodation in a convenient location for the main station and walking distance of Old Town area. Lovely breakfast. The only reason for the "average" rating for service was that a request for extra milk in our room for tea/coffee was forgotten about initially and when repeated the following day took rather a long time to appear. Otherwise the service was excellent.

The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from the main train station, where you could catch trams into the centre. The decor was rather old fashioned. Our room was large with a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable, but the shower was an old fashioned hand held one, so difficult to use when I wished to wash my hair. Breakfast was quiet with a good variety of food. They said they could keep our luggage for us in the morning, but they did not have a secure place to put the luggage. It was put in a corridor next to the reception area.

The loveliest hotel in that area of Salzburg, very friendly staff and great hearty breakfast everyday! The rooms where impecable and renovated and si spacious. The sound of music movie plays on channel 100 all day every day🥹! The views from the room were fantastic and the AC worked so well after a hot day in the city. We’ll be back for sure :)! Danke!

I was about to give one more star to this hotel but at the checkout, surprise, the white lady said I haven't paid... I replied I had already done so... She said no I hadn't pay. Then she also mention the city tax... I said I paid everything already including the city tax... Then, and only at that moment, she started to check her record and she said oh you paid. Then she said people can make mistake. I said yes, but she should have checked first before she replied and insisted... Now I remember this very same lady made me wait 10 min to get the key when I was tired getting back from outside because she was busy talking... It's a pity these things happened. It's also pity the hotel put this kind of people at the reception. I guess she may also don't like Asian people, not too say she hate them. Other people are nice and hotel is quite good, well renovated and good breakfast. The price is too high compared to the room, service and breakfast. I would not come back here again. If you can choose, go to another hotel. And don't forget, beware at the checkout if you have already paid. Keep you receipt ...

Check in was lengthy as one needed to fill out a form even though all the information had been provided on line in response to the hotel’s request for us to provide. Our room was quiet, with a very comfortable bed, and a newly refurbished bathroom. Unfortunately, when we needed to use the WC brush, it was disgusting, not something I would expect in a hotel of this grade. Breakfast had good choices and was tasty. We were provided with 2 small milk cartons in the room, alongside some tea and coffee sachets. When we asked for some additional milk cartons so we could have a second cup of tea, we were given a lengthy ‘lecture’ that these are complimentary and therefore we should not expect more. Was quite dumbfounded at this response, this being the 4th hotel on our trip, with no such issue experienced in the other hotels who were 3 star hotels. When leaving the hotel you had to leave your key with reception. However, when returning, staff didn’t always check who we were, simply handing the key to us, so any one could just ask for the key - not very secure. The hotel location was very good, easily reached on foot from the train station, and the old town was only 15 minutes walk away.
