This charming Hillcrest cottage is located just one block from downtown Hillcrest, half a mile away from Balboa Park and so many other attractions. Downtown Hillcrest has tons of shops and is known for having some of the best restaurants/bars in all of San Diego. If you plan to stay in the Hillcrest area everything is within walking distance. The Sunday farmers market is also within walking distance. If you are looking to venture outside of Hillcrest, the freeways are close by for convenient access and the beaches are just 20 minutes away. The house has books, and several games for all ages. There is cable and a DVD player with some DVD's to pick from as well. The kitchen and living room have that open floorplan so nobody misses out on any of the action. The kitchen is fully stocked for those who like to cook at home. If BBQing is more your style, you can do that too! The front and backyards are fully fenced so there is no worry for those who bring their dog.* This cottage has two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and there are two bathrooms, plus a washer and dryer. The backyard has a cozy seating area and small firepit to enjoy during the evenings. Pet friendly! No more than 2 dogs (no cats allowed). Non-refundable pet fee and Pet Policy acceptance required. All pets must be disclosed at time of booking. Thank you! Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Hillcrest Great neighborhood and nice little house, but there were some issues: mattress had stains and no pad, just a plastic cover under the sheets; ice maker did not work; dirty dishes in cupboard; leaky shower head (sprays upward); light bulbs out.

Conference at Town and Country Resort We decided to stay away from the conference we were attending and were very happy to have found this great house. It was in a very convenient location and the neighborhood was simply charming. So many wonderful places to grab a delicious bite to eat, near Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. Perfect.

Excellent stay in Hillcrest! We had an excellent stay at Hillcrest Hideaway! The house is clean and comfortable! Close to restaurants, Balboa Park and downtown. Excellent communication and response time with host. Would definitely stay there again!

Responsive We had issues with the heater and we got a quick response and a quick fix! Parking was a bit tight since we had a bigger car with a car seat but there was nice spots right outside the house too. Neighborhood was nice and quiet at night too.

Perfect location Loved our stay. The neighborhood is fantastic fun and filled with some great food. The home is cozy and comfortable and the location is super accessible to many sites to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again

San Diego Navy Reunion The house was awesome, location was great we walked to a few restaurants that were just a 2-3 minute walk. The bed mattress's were more like an air bed and not great, but that's the only negative part of our stay

Felt Like Home So comfortable and peaceful! Beautifully remodeled and comfy outdoor spaces too. Kitchen had everything you’d need. Slept great! Will definitely come back!!
