Tenuta Negroamaro

A huge disappointment for us on our trip through Puglia. The photos of the hotel were gorgeous and stylish however we were met with unprofessional service and a tiny room for a family of 4. We were very clear in our emails with the hotel that we were 2 adults and 2 children. What they should have told us is that they do not have rooms to accommodate that size of family. Instead they put us in their largest room which consisted of a queen bed and added a small single mattress to be room. (European “queen” is probably a couple inches wider than an American queen). When I asked the reception if this was the largest room her response was unprofessional and defensive. The room was not relaxing and we were dying to get out as anywhere we stepped we would run into our luggage or each other. Additional examples of unprofessional service: The front desk woman had saved my husband’s name wrong and had been messaging a different person on What’s up for all of the pre check in correspondence. She chuckled and thought it was funny. The landscaping needs work, there are dried areas of piled up branches and there is a lot of land not tended to. The entrance gate of the hotel and surrounding are also lacking beauty and unkempt. The lunch menu is severely lacking. There were very few items, nothing appropriate for children and a limited unappetizing selection. The hotel has only been open 2 years and clearly they are still ironing out details.

Amazing place to relax and retreat, surrounded by nature this boutique hotel is the previous perl of Salento. Loved every day spent there! Our room with private garden and pool was so beautiful and people who work there are extremely nice !

Amazing place, very relaxing and beautifully decorated. The staff was excellent, very kind and helpful. They exceeded my expectations by far! Delicious food. Garden to table experience, they even have a little farm. Loved my room with private pool, hope to come back. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing stay at Tenuta Negroamaro! It’s such a tranquil hotel, the pool area is beautiful and our room (with its own plunge pool) was so luxurious. The location is just outside of Gallipoli, perched on a slight hill, with views of the sea. The service was wonderful, especially from Joanne who greeted us so warmly when we arrived, and made sure our every need was catered for. They are a new hotel, opened in summer 22 but they already feel well established. They grow their own produce on site, and even have some resident farm animals around, including our favourite, Maya the pig. We will definitely be back!!

Il posto è magnifico si trova a pochi kilometri da Gallipoli,le suite sono spaziose, il personale è sempre disponibile ed professionale. Il posto è molto curato ed lo consiglio vivamente

Pour la seconde fois, nous sommes retournés dans ce lieu idyllique! La chambre est magnifique, la terrasse privative avec son « petit mais adorable » point d’eau privatif (un must), le personnel de service adorable, la cuisinière du matin et midi est vraiment extraordinaire et aux petits soins! À la réception, Joanne t’accueille comme si tu faisais partie de sa famille! Nous avons adoré et rêvons de revenir 🩷
