This is a charming little hotel in a fantastic location, steps from a lovely little inlet beach and the shops and restaurants of Sant Elm. We had a studio room, and for 3 people was rather squishy, but for 2 would be perfect. The deck was huge and very handy with loungers and a clothes line. The complimentary breakfast was great, the air conditioning much needed and sufficient. The pool was popular with families however closed at 7 pm, which was disappointing. I would stay again because of its location and for the most part, this hotel gets it right.

We had 7 nights in a one bedroom appt with Breakfast and we loved it. The location was fantastic, incredible view from second floor, very close to beach and the main area of Sant Elm. The staff make this place, all very pleasant and professional, bar staff, reception, house keeping, management - all excellent. Room was superb for a couple, plenty of space and a great balcony. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and staff constantly topping up buffet options and tidying up dishes etc. Cold water fountain in reception was a great touch, top up when needed. Would strongly recommend and hope to return soon.

Stayed 5 nights. Really liked the hotel. Booked half board which we thought was great value. Very good selection of food .Buffet service at both breakfast and dinner. Staff really pleasant and efficient …. I never saw any tables with plates or glasses that needed clearing Prompt service always. The five days we stayed at the hotel we noticed that the manager was always out and about chatting to guests and staff. He also could be seen checking the food on the buffet at Breakfast and Dinner. We booked in to the smaller studio apartment which was great .Room slightly dated but well maintained air con unit a bit noisy. Great balcony with a sea view. If you travel with a lot of luggage I would suggest booking a larger room. The room like the rest of the hotel was very clean. We didn’t use the pool but it was always being cleaned . The sun bed area swept and beds cleaned.

Lovely hotel, nice small pool, good access to the beach. There are alot of steps to negotiate. We were bed and breakfast and there are many good restaurants near by. Having a fridge and cooking facilities was good but we ate out most days. Sant Elm is small, beautiful and self contained. We would recommend this hotel.

We stayed Friday to Monday , 3 sisters and Mom with ages 30's and 40's and 75. Had a 2 bed apartment on 3rd floor. Lovely and clean with superb patio with table and chairs and 4 sunbeds with amazing view. Good sized bathroom, kitchen and lounge area with glass and patio doors to patio. Buffet breakfast was amazing, pool area and sunbeds superb. Good reception and bar. Had lunch and drinks, very good prices. Sant Elm is beautiful, very clean and relaxing. Nice restaurants and boutique shops. Lovely little sandy beach opposite aparthotel or down the road a larger sand and shingle beach. Clear sea can see fishes. Supermarket in walking distance. Overall a fabulous quiet and relaxing long weekend in a beautiful setting. Only downside no lift at aparthotel so would be difficult if walking difficulties. I would recommend this aparthotel and area for a relaxing holiday in the sun

Very comfortable aparthotel. Very clean, modern apartment with fabulous balcony. Kitchenette had fridge, microwave and hob - you don't really need anything more. The restaurant/bar food was very good. Pool was lovely. Staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a lovely location . All in all it offers a very enjoyable experience. Will be back.

Lovely place only had 4 nites but thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Will defo return. Newly furnished bedrooms/bathrooms partial sea view. Communal areas great !! Complimentary cool drinking water in Recep nice touch didn't eat at hotel but all food looked lovely. Alot of steps though we were on 3rd floor !! Think there was a service lift

Lovely, clean, spacious 2 bed apartment. The beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable but it wouldn’t put me off staying again. Great location, nice pool, friendly staff. Breakfast is a standard hotel buffet but has enough choice. We were on the fourth floor and missed not having a lift. Parking in the area can be almost impossible, especially if you want to be near the hotel.

I would like to be clear that my review is not based on the apartments themselves but on the unacceptable lack of response from the hotel manager Pablo Gonzalez regarding serious hygiene issues I raised with him on our return resulting from other guests behaviour. Plus points: The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and appeared brand new Freely available drinking water on tap from machines placed around the hotel Really good breakfast choice, presentation and quality and dishes cleared quickly and efficiently All the staff we encountered were very pleasant Great location close to all the restaurants of St Elm Negatives: We were on the second to top floor and there is no lift so we had to lug our heavy suitcases up lots of flights of narrow steep external stairs The hygiene issues mentioned above relate to the guests in the next apartment using duvets, pillows and sofa cushions on their terrace sun beds to sunbathe on. We were appalled that they thought it was acceptable to use the bedding in this way, bedding that the next guests would then have on their beds and be sleeping under, unaware that they had been sweated on and wet by these guests. These guests would come in wet from the pool/sea, grab the bedding and lay on them. Pillows were left on the terrace floor overnight and they thought nothing of lying on them and the cushions with soaking wet hair. As we were leaving we requested the email address of the hotel and on return from holiday I contacted the manager to inform him what these guests had been doing, and raised concerns about how the bedding was being used and the fact that the next guests would then be sleeping on soiled bedding. I included photos to show him what they were doing but 2 weeks on he has still not either acknowledged nor responded to my email. So by all means stay at the Don Camilo but be aware you may end up in the apartment in question and sleeping under this soiled bedding.

The hotel location and buildings are very sharp. Our room was recently renovated. The only downside for us was that we just stayed one night. We'll book for longer next time. Overall, this place is great and exceeds expectations.

Great Aparthotel. Very well located with easy access to the resort. Comfortable rooms and well equipped cooking area. Good pool area and spacious restaurant for breakfast buffet. Helpful friendly staff. A good overnight stay on a walking trip

Great location in cosy Sant Elm. Big apartment with fantastic view. Good breakfast with a lot of variance. Only stairs from the reception and up but ok for us. Would like to come again. Sant Elm is a small gem with fantastic view and lots of dinning places.

The hotel was excellent with large clean rooms, good view, wide breakfast selection and friendly staff. However the wifi was poor so would be difficult to work here or to download anything. Phone signal was also not great so couldnt use 4G either.

This was our second visit to the Don Camillo. It’s in a lovely situation with stunning views over to Dragonera Island from its sunny terraces The apartments are spotless and well appointed. Last year we were given room 633 which was wonderful with a double terrace. Despite being at the top of a long flight of stone steps we absolutely loved it. This year we requested this same room and the hotel confirmed this. Our flight meant we didn’t arrive until after midnight and we were very tired. We were ‘greeted’ by an unfriendly receptionist who did not welcome us in any way and informed us that we did not have our requested room but rather the one next door ‘it’s exactly the same’ he said ( it wasn’t) I found some of the staff to be a little cold and unfriendly - maybe late season problem. The cleaners however were smiling and friendly. We will almost certainly visit San Telmo again as we have been doing intermittently since 1986. It’s a very special and largely unspoiled village
