Aparthotel El Galeón

If you're looking for do-it-yourself accommodation, then this hotel is for you. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and well supplied with basic, functional kitchen accessories. Breakfast was pretty good, though not terribly exciting. There was plenty of free garage parking (but be aware that the entrance/exit ramp is VERY tight and steep - not for large cars or timid drivers!). There was no reception staff on duty at any time during our eight day stay, and several messages sent in advance of our arrival were unanswered. We had to figure out how to turn on the electricity in our room on our own, as no one answered the "help" number provided. There was a clear lack of general cleaning (dust accumulated in the hallways and stairwells) and maintenance (loose bathroom fixtures, broken cabinet doors in the lobby).

We had an apartment for the last two nights of our week-long hiking trip. We were happy having an apartment after staying in hotel rooms the other nights, as we longed to do our own thing food-wise and have a bit more space. The apartment was actually very spacious and clean. There were no towels but when we asked for them we got them immediately with no hassle. Not a huge selection of kitchen utensils etc. but enough for two people for two nights. We had asked for a balcony and sea view but were told beforehand that there was no guarantee. We got no balcony and a side view to the harbour. We asked the receptionist who was friendly, and she promised to see what she could do about changing it for the next day. But we had a full day's hiking program so we weren't there to change the apartment anyway. The acoustics in the apartment and the breakfast restaurant are not too pleasant. It's all tiles and high ceilings so you can imagine the noise. The breakfast itself was quite OK. The most important downside is the location. It really is a weird place to have a hotel. It's on the outskirts of the town – not too far to walk but the roads are not very nice around the hotel. And the surroundings are far from pretty. You might be lucky and able to see the harbour but other than that you look out onto a big road. Due to its location, it's hard to recommend El Galeon. The apartments are OK, but the location is not great.

This is a rather simple place which was convenient for us as it is a mer 15 minutes walk from the ferry. The room was very large and well equipped and although directly overlooking a road, rather quiet. Breakfast ok and very reasonable pricing. You should just talk with the hotel in case you show up after 8 PM as nobody’s there after that time. It’s quite straightforward though. There is also a underground garage in case it’s needed.

fuimos un grupo, nunca conocimos a la recepcionista, jamas, en los tres días que estuvimos hubo recepción, el ascensor estuvo todo ese tiempo estropeado y teníamos personas con movilidad reducida, no pudimos hacer cambios de habitación, porque repito, no había recepción. Si necesitabas llamar a un taxi, tampoco tenias recepción para acudir ante una duda o emergencia. EL desayuno tampoco es nada del otro mundo, cuatro cosas básicas y adiós. No lo recomiendo nada, no vale el precio que ponen por habitación.

Lo mejor del lugar es la ubicación. Nos hemos hospedado 4 personas y 1 bebé en la habitación 201, en primer lugar pedimos dos habitaciones y como favor nos pidieron pasarnos a una unificada y grande. Desde que llegamos el primer día la habitación era grande pero estaba sucia. El bebé como cualquier otro quería estar en el suelo y jugar , pero el suelo y las superficies de los muebles estaban sucias. La zona de la cocina estaba toda pegajosa, el cubo de la basura tenía mal olor, la nevera estaba chorreando líquido porque la dejaron mal cerrada y encima estaba sucia. El tercer día nos encontramos con la chica de la limpieza y le pedimos un cambio de toallas y que si podían pasar el suelo tanto por el bebé como por higiene. Nos comenta que ese día no tocaba limpieza en las habitaciones ya que no se realiza los miércoles y los domingos, limpieza cual ni el viernes cuando llegamos, ni sábado, ni lunes hubo limpieza en la habitación. Vinieron a cambiarnos las toallas e hicieron la cama un día nada más. Teníamos el desayuno incluido en la reserva, el cual estaba aceptable, aunque era algo desagradable escuchar las peleas en la cocina entre los empleados. Hoy martes nos vamos del mismo y cuando llegamos a recepción a dejar las llaves de la habitación solicitamos una hoja de reclamaciones y es inexistente ya que ni física ni digital la tenían para poder facilitarla, dando como respuesta que nos la enviarían por correo para que la rellenáramos. En resumen, la estancia ha sido algo complicada, lo único bueno que tiene es la ubicación.

Apartahotel con dos dormitorios, cada uno con dos camas individuales y dos sofás cama. Cocina completa (sin horno) y baño completo, con bañera. Aparcamiento gratuito. Desayuno muy completo. Bien ubicado.

Estuvimos un fin de semana en una habitación EXCELENTE. Todo muy limpio, muy amplio. La chica de la limpieza GENIAL El desayuno de muy buena calidad. Ubicación buenísima. Sin duda, volveremos en cuanto podamos

Cet hôtel offre la possibilité de vivre la ville de Santa Cruz tout en restant au calme. Ce sont de petits appartements confortables, bien équipés et disposant d’un parking. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux et variés. Le personnel est gentil et chaleureux. Les plus: proximité des rues piétonnes, petit déjeuner parfait et parking. Les moins: la literie et la déco sont vieillotes, la rampe d’accès au parking est très étroite et il y a des chances que votre véhicule y laisse un peu de peinture ! Malgré cela je retournerai probablement dans cet hôtel qui est une bonne option.

.Un despropósito que en sus servicios no te informen de qué tienes que fumar cuando al de la abitacion de allado le apetezca y que no puedes dormir por una terraza ilegal donde la música está bastante alta y se aprecian clientes orinando em ña propia puerta del mismo . Si te ocurre lo mismo te aconsejo que el primer día reclames todo tu dinero y te alojes donde te sientas respetado
