A lovely small boutique style hotel 5 mins from sea, centre of Kamari and easy access to other parts of the island. Special mention to Athena on reception and her team. Very helpful, will arrange taxis (if you dont want to get bus to Oia) 45 Euros one way. Helped with restaurant booking in Oia too. Plenty of beds around the pool area. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, although seating is a little tight if you want to eat outside. Bar area around the pool very good with good staff. Only gripe with the room (we had a superior double) was that there was no table or chairs inside and lack of storage space (no enough drawers). The TV channels in English only showed news so didnt bother. WIFI good, hairdryer had decent output and plenty of plug sockets. Special mention too to the housekeeping team who were very attentive. If you visit Santorini for the famous sunsets in Oia dont forget that Kamari, being on the east coast, gets sunrise which is just as magical as the sunsets. Definietly recommend to friends and family and would love to visit again one day. Keep up the good work.

Loved our stay here at the Strogili Hotel. We stayed for one week , bed and breakfast from 20/8/24. The hotel is small but beautifully presented. Pool area is small but adequate enough for the hotel size. We never struggled for beds at any time, which was a worry before we arrived. There are different types of sunbeds, some with cushions, some without. Not all had access to umbrellas but there are plenty of trees for shade. We had room 212, which was a double room overlooking the bar area and pool ( partially). The room was spacious and modern. It had air con ( which worked absolutely fine), mini fridge ( two bottles of water were there on arrival , which was a nice touch), tea and coffee making facilities. It also had a hairdryer ( but I didn’t use this as I had my own). There was also , small toiletries, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The room had a large private balcony. Some rooms have very small balconies and I’m sure the room below ours at the bottom of the steps didn’t have a private balcony , as there were a table and two chairs outside the door. I personally wouldn’t have like this room. The hotel staff and bar staff were always really friendly. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, with rooms being cleaned daily also. Pool towels are provided at reception. They are white so can become dirty fairly quickly. Particularly if you go to the beach with them. The reception staff were very helpful. You can ask them to book your taxis, tours and even car hire. They give you a map on arrival, which is handy. The taxi to Fira is €30 each way and takes about 20 mins. Breakfast was plentiful. You wouldn’t go hungry. Considering it is only a small breakfast area, there was plenty of choice. The seating area did get very busy at times but we never had to wait for a table. It did irk me how some people dragged their breakfast out by getting more coffee etc and sitting there for ages, when they could have taken it to the pool bar. We used the gym a few times . It stated it was open from 8am but we did go in before. It’s not very big. It only has one of everything but was adequate enough for us. Could have done with a water dispenser and towels, so you have to take your own. The location of the hotel was fab. Literally a few minutes walk took you to the beach which was lined with bars and restaurants and it was also close to shops and supermarkets. There was a big one further up the road ( turn right out of the entrance) which we didn’t spot until the last night. It looked like it had more choice than the 24hr one close by. Obviously, the hotel is on the flight path and you will get aircraft noise, but you do get used to it. All in all, we had a great stay at the hotel and would definitely return in the future.Kamari is a fabulous resort. The best place we’ve been to for a long time.

Our stay at Strogoli was perfect. We stayed in room 301, with our own plunge pool and patio area. We would definitely recommend the upgrade. The room was spacious and clean. Good air conditioning and a double shower. Cleaning service daily. A variety of fresh breakfast options. The pastries were a favourite. A few minutes walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars. Taxis easy to get to Oia and Fira for stunning sunset dinners and beautiful scenery. A big shout out to Athina and Gogo. They helped make our stay at Strogoli even better. Both so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Athina on reception was always on hand to answer questions and help when needed. We would definitely return to Strogoli. Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!

What an amazing experience we had at this hotel, I booked this as a surprise for my wife's birthday, from first arriving at the hotel everything was perfect, we couldn't find fault at all , the staff were amazing , especially Gogo, who was so professional both at breakfast and around the bar, nothing was too much trouble for her, it seems wrong to single anyone out as all of the staff were professional and courteous. The room we had walked out onto a separate pool from the main pool and it was such a lovely setting. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty, as were the bar meals served throughout the day. the hotel was close enough to the main beach / promenade and restaurants (350m) to be convenient but far enough that you weren't disturbed. The cleanliness of the hotel was second to none and room service very good. The ultimate compliment for this hotel is we have booked again already for next year. Look forward to visiting again

This is the third time staying at this hotel and it just gets better. We had a superior room which was amazing but got upgraded to swim up pool room and wow beyond wonderful. I just love everything about this hotel. The location is great but it’s also very quiet. The breakfast is so nice with great choices. The hotel and pool area are exceptionally clean and you can always get a sunbed. The staff are so friendly and a pleasure. I would never consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Strogili.

My wife and I are just back from an excellent two weeks in Santironi, staying at the Strogili hotel. Its a well run and lovely hotel, just a couple of minutes from the beachfront, and a few minutes walk to the bus stop for Fira and elsewhere. The room was spacious, modern and cleaned diligently every day. Breakfast was plentiful, and the optional snacks delicious. The gym is small and, tbh, perhaps could have done with some towels or a water dispenser. But, it was more than sufficient. The pool area was big enough and cleaned daily. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, personable and efficient. Special mention has to go to both Magda and Arthur on the bar/snack area. They worked tirelessly and effortlessly to keep us fed and watered. A real pleasure to have met them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the hotel and resort.

Hotel immaculately clean, but lots of steps and on a flight path so my partner got no sleep. Breakfast options very poor. Only option for gluten free was two slices of gf bread everyday. Walking distance to a corner shop the beach and the restaurants. On the last day we were unable to keep our room on so had to sit in reception for 8.5 hrs. We were advised to use the facilities which were a rusty communal shower and toilets with no locks down more steps. Wouldn’t go back or recommend other than house keeping was immaculate.

The 1st room we had the air con made terrible noise so the hotel offered a different room the next day - we were upgraded to a superior room 106. Room much bigger and air con was quiet and a good temp. Bathroom nice - shower was big - not and a separate toilet. Breakfast v good, girl at reception was very helpful when we had our issue re air con day1. Pool gets busy but as I go to the beach each day not an issue for me. I have stayed in Kamari 10 times and I think this maybe the best hotel yet - well top 2 if not the best. Location is very good. Overall a very nice hotel and you won’t be disappointed if you stay here

Excellent hotel, very clean and tidy, excellent service all over the hotel , especially bar staff, breakfast staff, cleaning staff, lovely rooms, great shower, nice beds, was upgraded to room with plunge pool, lovely swimming pool , great variety of breakfasts. Lovely bar . Kamari, very nice, loads of restaurants Only negatives :- No decaffinated coffee at breakfast ! Evening meals at restaurant 75 yards away , were ok , but next time we would eat in the town very nearby , so much choice Beach is 75 yards away, very pebbly , not overly clean and inviting

Amazing hotel, great location close to the restaurants and bars along the beachfront. Very quiet at night too. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spotless as the cleaners do an amazing job each day. Breakfast is a typical buffet style but enough choice both hot and cold. Choice of drinks at the poolside bar was good too and the menu during the day looked great, although we didn't need to order anything. Staff are brilliant, such attention to detail and so helpful. My wife mislaid her prescription sunglasses in a taxi and Athina on reception took all the details, liaised with the taxi company who found the glasses and returned them to our hotel. What service all round! Special mentions to Athina & Dimitris (reception) Alice (bar) and Magda (bar) for their super service throughout. We will definitely come back, a really nice experience. I would recommend Kamari as a destination if you are visiting Santorini, a really nice place. Temperatures in May were around 22 average so really pleasant. A couple of days were windy but that's apparently standard for this time of year.

We had a week’s holiday at Strogoli hotel in Kamari. Short transport from the airport. Close to the seafront, bars and restaurants. The hotel is spotless. The staff are all very polite helpful and efficient. The breakfasts were excellent with lots to choose from. The pool was lovely and never crowded. The sun beds were comfy, you had to be prompt in the morning to get the best one. Rooms exceptionally clean and roomy (well ours was). Downside was the entry into the sea fairly uncomfortable under foot and sea shoes a must. Buses were slightly crowded to Fira and a bit of a rush. Taxis available but only 20 on the island. Hiring a quad bike was easy and a great way to see all the sights .

Great stay at the Strogili Hotel. Easy transfer from the airport, super greetings on arrival & spacious room. Personal thanks to the bartender Alice & the lunch man Tassos, they have deliver a great customer service & have been a huge help for us during our stay.

This was our first trip to Santorini, Greece. So glad we booked this hotel. The service and food were amazing. Everything was on point and perfectly executed. Zero complaints. Well, the pool was a bit cold some days, lol. But that’s May in Greece apparently. LOL. I want to mention the pool staff in particular. All the staff were amazing, but one pool staff/server stood out over the others, Maria. She just had this way of making the day even better. Starting with breakfast and ending a day around the pool. She was friendly, curious, kind and attentive. I’ve never seen anyone work so hard. And all the staff works hard at Strogili, that is without doubt. So, to conclude, I am sure there is a lot of great hotels in Santorini, but really, look no further. It’s close to town, has a great pool. Quiet for those sexy moments, has the best staff. Enjoy!
