Atlantis Beach Villa

We could not be happier with our choice to stay at Atlantis Beach Villa! We stayed for a week during August. The location is excellent: right on the beach- with free sunbeds for guests, walking distance to restaurants and bars but also quiet. Swimming pool was big and the food served pooside was delicious. Our room was extremely spacious & recently renovated with jacuzzi on the balcony! Hotel staff is very friendly. We only regret we didn't stay longer! Great accommodation as in Atlantis really makes difference to one's vacation! We are looking forward to returning!

The hotel is in a great location within a 5-10 min walk either left or right out of the hotel,plenty of restaurants to choose from some more upmarket than others,Sea View we found really lovely. Pool area clean and tidy but we did experience people using the pool when they were not staying in the hotel,which we found annoying !! Pool towels need replacing,threadbare !!! Great bar around pool and staff very good but we did think the food quality was poor. Rooms dark and a bit small and shower very basic with shower curtain with water going all over the floor and water from showerhead going hot and cold,really does need upgrade.Towels poor quality with holes !!! Rooms always kept clean with bedding and towels changed regular. Breakfast hit and miss and quite busy as it's a small area.Very basic choices and no freshly cooked eggs only small sausages and small pieces of omelette for hot choice or boiled eggs. Got the bus to Fira which was great value and comfortable €2 each way or €35 taxi each way of you don't mind paying. Overall a nice holiday but we would not return as a few things let this hotel down.

We absolutely loved staying here. It is an idyllic spot with a great pool area and adjoining bar and restaurant area, with the beach just over the road, free sun beds and all, plus plenty of restaurants close by. The staff were great too. A special mention to Mario, the bar manager and his assistants, who work tirelessly from morning to night, and also Christina on reception, who was very helpful, including organising on of the many excursions that are available (we chose to do a one day bus tour of the island). Would definitely recommend. We didn't see any other hotel that we would rather be at.

Has a lot going for it. Brilliant location, very clean, comfortable beds free air con friendly reception + cleaning staff. Good dep day arrangement. Shower isn’t the best, breakfast ok watery juice.

The Atlantis Beach Villa is a nice place. We had a deluxe room with a great view across the pool to the beach. Our room was small but clean; the bathroom was very small. There's a good pool. It’s not massive but fine. Use of sun-beds by the pool and on the beach is free for those staying here. The pool bar is great for drinks and snacks with very nice staff. The wifi is "open" and can be flakey. You get a good buffet breakfast, available 8-10am. Scrambled egg (cold), little chippolatas, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, coffee, cold meats and cheese, bread, etc. Important if you're thinking of going HALF-BOARD. The restaurant is not on-site, but a 10- to 15-minute walk away. Half-board coupons have to be collected daily from the villas' reception and handed in to restaurant staff when you enter. The Atlantis restaurant was nice and half-board saved us some money, and the issue of having to choose where to eat every night - we're not very good at choosing - but there's a hundred places to eat along the seafront, so you're not short of options. The menu has a fairly decent selection, but some meals seemed better than others. Lunch and dinner menus were the same. Did we get the same as walk-in “paying" customers? We weren't sure. When walking to the restaurant you also have to pass other restaurants where staff will attempt to persuade you in. This isn't that big-a big deal - these are mostly family businesses trying to get by, after all - just smile and say no thanks. But it is a bit of a pain to be approached _every_ time. It can be very dark in places along the seafront road. Drink only bottled water in Santorini and don't flush toilet paper; put it in the bathroom bin instead. This is because Greek sewage pipes are very narrow and easily blocked. It feels very wrong at first but you soon get used to it. Busses to Fira are good, and fun, with connections to everywhere else on the island. We also did an excursion with tui culminating in a sunset at Oia. It was a decent day out for the money, but you'll need to be able to walk on uneven ground and climb a lot of steps, usually in high temperatures. If you want to lie by a pool and sun then this is a good place. The people are very friendly and we had a decent break. A word on the weather: it can be very windy! And a chilly wind too. Bring a hoody, and something for rain just in case: as I write, it's absolutely chucking it down outside.

We really enjoyed our stay here..a lovely size , not too big...yes the pool towels are on their last legs...(we always pack a beach towel anyway..) ..the shower has to be treated as a wet room as the water goes everywhere! ....but despite these ******* everything else was great...buffet breakfast is right up our street..continental..and more than enough for everyone..the rooms are spacious..bed is comfortable . .pool area is well looked after and clean...sun loungers are very comfortable..never a problem getting one..housekeeping is excellent..friendliness of staff excellent...we ate at the pool restaurant on our last day and found the menu choice v.good..portion size and food quality both excellent... lovely restaurants near by... We would definitely return to the Atlantis Beach ...and highly recommend it..

So we stayed here from the end of September for 1 week. The pool area was kept clean and there was also plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The rooms. Well we was given room 13, very small and dark, the bedding and towels was changed regularly as well as the room being kept clean. The bathroom very dated and mot enough room to move in there, the drains also smelt very bad in the bathroom. The tiles had cracks all over . The fridge in the living area also has issues as it kept freezing the drinks we had put in there Staff at the hotel were very friendly and approachable The area itself was very quiet, plenty of restaurants within walking distance but no shops near by. The beach was not the prettiest All in all we did have a lovely time but will not return to santorini.

We have just returned from an amazing trip to the Atlantis Beach Villa. The pool area and beach access were fantastic and the staff were all lovely. We could not fault the facilities/hotel. A family of stray kittens had taken to visiting the hotel which was a very welcome sight for us. When one of the kittens had become very ill, I passed my concerns onto Kristina on reception. Kristina was absolutely amazing and arranged for the kitten to be seen by a local vet. We left a water bowl out for the kittens and she was happy to accept a bag of cat biscuits to leave out for them. The compassion shown to the stray cats, the lovely staff and pool/beach facilities will certainly bring us back. Looking forward to our next trip and I hope that the hotel continue to care for the stray cats! :)

My partner spent 4 nights here and we loved it, its in a prime location to the beautiful beach and bars. We stayed in room 20 and had a lovely little terrace which looked out towards the pool and beach. We loved the shabby chic look of the room and the bed was massive, we both slept really well. We didnt have a problem with the shower as many have put. The room was cleaned every day and the cleaners were so happy and friendly. The breakfast is continental but had something for everyone, croissants, toast, jams, honey, aswell as cereals and a lovely variety of fruit. The coffee machine makes the best cappuccino. The pool area was spotless and always plenty of people around it and spare sunbeds. The beach is directly infront and if you scan the bar code on the sunbeds drinks are brought to you by a lovely chap who keeps the beach area tidy. The food from the bar area is a good price and plentiful, we ate twice there and enjoyed both meals and service always came with a smile. To catch the bus to thira, turn left out the hotel and the bus stop is 5 mins walk away on the right. The cost of the bus is between €1:60-€2:40 depending on time, it takes around half an hour to reach Thira. 100% we would come back to this hotel, couldnt fault a thing, a lovely setting and lovely staff.
