Paradise Resort

It was close to the red sand beach and a shop but that is about all its close too my bed was literally a mattress on pallets definitely doesn't look like the pictures staff was friendly

Just got back from a lovely holiday here, the hotel is lovely, clean, friendly and very relaxing, the pool was a god send to cool down, the food at the restaurant was great very tasty, the rooms are cleaned every day and Yoko the dog is a little character just potters around, give her a scratch and she's happy

his is a great find. A lovely hotel and superb restaurant. The rooms have everything you need from lovely comfortable beds to nice quite nights sleeps. The hotel is laid out very well and gives you a great amount of privacy. The staff are very welcoming but will also leave you to your own devices. The food in the restaurant is superb and very reasonably priced in comparison to other local restaurants. Has a lovely pool and the surrounding areas beautiful. It’s a 3 star hotel and in my opinion exceeds this easily. Area very traditional and well away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots but well accessible by bus or car. Bus stop across the road, supermarket opposite. 5 restaurants within 100m and more further away but easily walkable. We had a fantastic week here and wound love to visit again sometime. If you come to the area you must go up to the castle cafe with it’s ancient building but with a superb cafe inside with some absolutely stunning views Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and enjoy the winter break!!

We arrived Thursday late at night and was greeted by George who offered us refreshments to take to the room. We had a fantastic room that was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed, nothing was too much to ask when we needed, staff was very attentive and welcoming and always had a smile and friendly atmosphere around the hotel. The owners were fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, they assisted us with booking vehicles and also offered the references to my partner where was the best place to propose (I said yes 😁) The highlight was meeting the family dog yogo, even he was very welcoming. The food was to a high standard and was inexpensive. We haven’t left yet and we are already planning our next arrival to the paradise resort. We can’t thank the owners and staff for a fantastic week and we can’t wait to come back and meet the new addition to the family when baby arrives.

Came late Sunday evening to a warm welcome. George and team were friendly and helpful. We managed to sit down and have a beer after our long journey before we unpacked in our room. The room was two storey, a small living area and bathroom down stairs and bedroom upstairs. The bedroom window albeit small looked out towards a church. We were both pleasantly surprised with the room after reading some other reviews. The bed was comfy and we found extra pillows and blankets when needed. The whole room had air conditioning, kettle and fresh towels. Room was kept clean daily. Our stay was bed and breakfast, breakfast was basic continental, but nice, Peter was always very attentive and kept the area neat and tidy. Pool area is lovely and quiet (freshwater pool), everything you really need, however the pool is not heated so late October it was a bit chilly. Location is great, lots of walks (bring walking shoes) and easy bus stop access... the bus (coach) is a great way to get around the island, very easy, recommend using it for a cheap tour of the island to Fira and Oia. Local restaurants and shop opposite make your stay nice and easy! Overall would highly recommend coming and staying here for a quiet getaway!

We booked withJet2. The resort is 3 star and two weeks bed and breakfast was very inexpensive. Rooms very basic with a tiny shower but it was cleaned on a daily basis. Fresh towels and sheets and mini toiletries replaced daily. Fridge, hairdryer, iron and safe included in price. We had one problem and that was sorted immediately. Breakfast was adequate. The village has about 7eateries, one with Greek music twice a week, a bus stop taking you to Fira and a shop that sells everything. We did eat out a few times and do no recommend the one opposite the resort Bella, cannot remember the second name. Mostly we large at the resort as the food was excellent and the staff delightful. Excellent house wine. Lovely clean pool with towels provided. Rather than be negative, as this can spoil a holiday, try to build up a rapport with owners and staff. They are delightful. The owners have had a hard time with covid and a bereavement and are only human. Any reserve could be down to culture. Highlight of holiday was front of house - Yoko the Jack Russell. She loves egg, ham and chicken. We had a great break.

I fell in love with Santorini and our small village of Akrotiri. There is one shop and several tavernas with people we loved to eat with daily especially Stefanos and Zafora restaurant. We stayed in the paradise resort ...the pictures made it look beautiful. Indeed the pool is fabulous and it's very pretty in the restaurant . The place is kept clean and no problem there. Our junior suite was let's say grey and basic without the nice balcony or terrace the other rooms had . I complained about this before I even slept on the rock hard bed. . The lady manager does not like you to complain so I gave up and her husband said they were cheaply priced and their rooms reflected on this and it's Greek custom to have a mattress on several pallets. Only I paid a lot of money to stay here I would honestly just have accepted the room as the pool and cleanliness was great .I found a hair in my moussaka and the meal was replaced with a lot of apologies. Paradise resort is in a lovely area and other people staying there said it was reasonable and basic ....totally fair enough ....but I paid a lot for a hard bed and our outdoor space was on the gangway with a table and chairs ....so don't book the junior suite ..... Otherwise we loved our holiday very much ..
