Park Hotel Gran Bosco

A lovely hotel with lots of character. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The food is really good, the breakfast especially, which set us up well for a day on the slopes! The bar in the hotel is reasonably priced and offers lots of choice. The hotel is quite far from the centre, although walkable. We got the bus into town and walked back most days. The minibus to and from town is a great touch, and a special mention must go to Gigi who is on hand and happy to take you where you want to go! Our only criticism (which is a strange one and not one we’ve ever encountered!) is that we would all unpack our toiletries in the bathroom/ dressing tables to where we wanted them to be for our stay, to come back each evening to find the maid had put them all away in toiletry bags in the bathroom, so we played a nice game of “who has my toiletries” at the end of the day! All in all a lovely visit, we would all definitely return!

We went for one week ski holiday. We had a twin room, the beds are very small so my daughter and I pushed them together. Problem solved so at least if you rolled over in your small coffin bed you wouldn’t fall out. Otherwise the hotel was actually a really nice place to stay. The staff go above and beyond to help with anything you want and the owner was very helpful getting some of the faults we had in the room sorted straight away. The food is way too much. I think you get about 4 courses which if anyone write on here and say they couldn’t find anything to eat, they are lying. The best thing is GiGi the driver. You just ring him up and he is there within minutes so when everybody has had a full day skiing you have your own personal taxi to take you back to the hotel. Just give him a good tip at the end of your holiday.

Great place. Traditional Italian decor. Clean, comfortable warm room. Good breakfast choice and friendly owners. Easy drive from Turin airport. Would recommend as good value. My 9 year old daughter loved sally the owners dog who had a lovely character. Also free hotel minibus to and from slopes was excellent.

From the outset, the owners went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and hospitable, even offering to drive us to a bus stop in town on our return journey. While the hotel's location is around half a mile from the centre of the resort, it is peaceful and picturesque (an antidote to the party atmosphere of Sauze centre). Otherwise, a driver is available on request to drop you at the ski lifts or collect you at the end of the day at no additional cost. Breakfast was more than adequate in terms of quality and variety with savoury items such as cheese, cold cuts and boiled eggs available over and above the customary pastries and cereal. Our room, complete with a balcony view of the mountains, was a good size and spotlessly clean, unsurprising perhaps given the efficient daily maid service. Very little to dislike though the decor would benefit from an update. Also, I would have appreciated some information in the room directing us to local bars and restaurants and other amenities. In summary, we would have no hesitation in booking a future stay.

Our group of 11 stayed at this hotel for new year 22/23 for a skiing holiday. The hotel is slightly dated but added to its charm and it was very clean, warm and well maintained. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything needed such as good wardrobe space, bedside tables and en suite bathroom with shower. The shower is a corner one and is very small however had good water pressure and always had hot water. The hotel owners are very helpful and friendly and check in was quick and easy. The food was very good, breakfast consisted of a continental buffet with ham cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurts and warm croissants. There was also a toastie machine available to use every morning. As we had an early pick up on our last day they were happy to put breakfast on half an hour early for us. Evening meal was again very good, there was a cold buffet to start with various salads, fresh soup and pasta with a tomato sauce which the kids all loved. This was the followed by a pasta course such as lasagna, ravioli etc. The main meal was usually meat or fish with veg and potatoes followed by a dessert. There was always something for everyone and it is impossible to go hungry there!! The hotel is situated a little outside the main town of Sauze and is around a 15/20 minute walk. the hotel does however have their own minibus and super lovely driver called Enzo who will take you back and forth whenever you wish, he dropped us all daily at the main ski lifts and would collect us from wherever we were in town following après ski. He would also take you back into town later at night and would pick you up until 11pm so the location wasn't an issue for us. The hotel also has a heated boot room in the basement for all your skis and boots etc to be stored. Overall we had a great stay at Park Hotel Gran Bosco and would happily stay again.
