Ibis Budget Hannover Garbsen

Used this Ibis hotel as an overnight stop on our way back to England. Arrived at the hotel just after 10.00pm so we used the self check-in terminal. Room was clean and functional. As with all Ibis budget hotels there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room though there are vending machines available. No lifts so that could be a problem for some. Free parking available both out front and at the back. Continental breakfast can be booked or paid on the day at €11.50. Staff very friendly and helpful. Handy for our purpose and would certainly use it again.

We wanted a hotel by the autobahn and this filled the need nicely. It's a great price but we arrived late and had big problems with the self check-in that was quite stressful and didn't know how to get help. Thankfully, we got into our room eventually. The next morning the staff were quite rude about a few things outside of my control and it left quite a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't go back

stayed in this hotel due to loacation. close to highway, easy access to and from the hotel. stayed before the pandemic here, nothing change since then, nice room, clean, enough for one night. breakfast was quite good.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening with 3 children, two of them with asthma. Despite the ban on smoking in the entire hotel, the smell of cigarette smoke is impossible. Breakfast in the morning is a nightmare. Dirty glasses. In the restaurant you are watched by a lady at the reception and a very unpleasant man who watches my table and makes comments in German. When I left the restaurant, I tried to put the medicines I gave to the children in my backpack. At that moment, the gentleman from security (?) sitting and watching, jumped up and started pointing something at me with his fingers and speaking in German. It turned out that my 5-year-old child was holding a half-eaten Nutella sandwich and wanted to leave the restaurant outside. The lady from the reception explained the behavior of her colleague with the rules. Unfortunately, because of a half-eaten sandwich, for which I paid, by the way, my child cried and was traumatized. I will never go back there and I will try to let everyone know the opinions about this hotel. Very surprising how you can be treated for your own money. I find this behavior extremely rude and against the rights of children and consumers.

La localisation de l'hôtel est bonne: il est proche de l'autoroute, facile d'accès avec un parking gratuit et clos. Le prix est un point fort aussi. Et j'apprécie retrouver les standards d'Ibis Budget. Le problème vient ici de l'accueil. La première fois que j'étais venu j'avais eu affaire à une dame que je n'avais pas trouvé sympathique. La deuxième fois que je suis venu (et la dernière) c'est aussi cette dame a qui j'ai eu affaire. J'ai eu un problème qui était totalement indépendant de ma volonté et elle s'est montré partciulièrement agacée. Elle a tout de même essayé de régler le problème de sa propre initiative, mais en gromelant. (elle l'a réglé) Un couple s'est présenté et a eu le même problème (indépendant de leur volonté), et il y a eu un mini-clash. Bonjour l'ambiance... A chaque fois que je suis rentré et sorti, elle était juste à l'extérieur du bàtiment, près de la porte, en train de fumer, avec d'autres personnes. Ce qui me donnait l'impression qu'elle surveillait les allées et venues. C'est la première fois que je trouve une ambiance aussi bizarre dans un hôtel. Et clairement, bien que tout le reste soit satisfaisant, je ne reviendrai pas ici, à cause de cet accueil si particulier. J'ai peut-ètre eu peu de chance lors de mes deux passages, mais personnellement c'est la première fois que par deux fois je retrouve une ambiance assez curieuse dans le même hôtel, donc je n'ai pas envie de retrouver cela une troisième fois. D'ailleurs peu de temps après je suis repassé à Hanovre et j'ai pris soin de choisir un autre hôtel que cet Ibis Budget. Dommage.

Stanze piccole e non pulitissime, senza ascensore, colazione molto ridotta . Acqua calda e piacevole delle doccia. Non ci tornerei, alcuni dei miei colleghi hanno trovato la stanza anche puzzava di fumo o con lenzuola non lavare bene. Non lo consiglio per il servizio offerto non mi sembra in linea per gli standard ibis.

Excellent rapport Qualité/prix, les chambres sont très propres et le personnel accueillant et serviable! Le personnel parle Allemand et Anglais bien sûr, mais aussi Français, avec un bar, un petit bistro restaurant juste à côté parfait pour le soir. Sans hésitation
