В силу объективных ограничений в этот раз мы едем с детьми, поэтому высоких требований к гостиничным удобствам у нас нет, словом, пейзажи очень хорошие, морская вода прозрачная, дети прекрасно провели время, ловя морские звезды. Они сказали, что были так взволнованы, что сомневались, что звезды рождаются, ха-ха.

Я зря ждала больше часа на причале и никто меня не забрал.Начальник не смог дозвониться и не смог прочитать отправленные им сообщения.Потом я не выдержал и открыл отель на пирсе, чтобы отдохнуть. We have a reservation to stay here which is fully paid but we are too scared to trust the reservation. We think that they must have gone out of business because we have been unable to get any response from them on WhatsApp or by phone for months. We have now asked for them to cancel and refund but this is also being ignored. We have lost our money and must stay somewhere else with people who respond. Be very careful giving your money to this business. It may be a scam.

We booked for more than a month. Initially try to book directly but when called unanswered then we decided to use *******. Then again try to call the resort just to reassure our booking got through. Again nobody picks up the call. WhatsApp messages were late response and information was not completed as needed. I would like to get information on facilities available which I cannot find when Google. When booked only 'Full Board' is available but not the 'Full Package'. I need to know about airport transfer, boat transfer, Island hopping, and any convenience store available should anything be needed last minute. No information was received. We have to call again and again for the resort to respond to WhatsApp messages. This situation worried me as I thought I got scammed. My entire month before vacation makes me restless. Less than a week before our vacation then only received WhatsApp messages from the resort asking us about airport transfer, boat transfer, and island hopping confirmation. 1 day before vacation in the evening the resort WhatsApp to inform on transportation payment which is cash only. Our flight the next day is early morning. Luckily we prepare some amount of cash already as we don't like to do everything at the very last minute. We also brought a first aid kit/dry foodstuff in case no convenience store. (We are right!!) Surprisingly from day arrival until day departure all went smoothly. Driver calls and WhatsApp where to pick us up at the airport.

The room and view is really really lovely and we actually enjoyed our stay here. The food is really nice too. The room’s aren’t too private though, you can see and hear the villas around you (wasn’t a problem for us). The staff really let you down though. They’re curt and rude and we felt like we were treated like outsiders for not being Malaysian the entire time (which is honestly surprising because we have been travelling around Malaysia for two months and have only ever encountered the loveliest people. As an example - We asked for kayaks and were just told ‘no’ and had to ask several people why before someone told us that the water level might be too low, which it wasn’t because we went snorkelling in it instead (which was really lovely). Also, our whatsapp conversations were vague in the lead up to our stay and they didn’t tell us which of the two jettys we would be picked up from, which caused chaos on the day. Another example - we kept ringing the bell for the bar and the staff member would refuse to come out and serve us. I just feel that as full-price paying customers, we shouldn’t have been made to feel that way. But i guess you get what you pay for. It’s the cheapest floating villa stay in the area and i would recommend it if you’re not looking for luxury and politeness. Bonus if you speak Malay :)

Этот курорт обслуживает внутренних туристов и доступен по цене по сравнению с другими близлежащими курортами. Расположение хорошее. Курорт простой и простой, подается хорошая еда. Персоналу не хватает подготовки, но они стараются вас обслужить. Общение через соцмед медленное и сложное, требующее внимания. То, как продаются стандартные номера, вводит в заблуждение. Предлагаются два типа стандартных номеров, но оба используют одну и ту же рекламную картинку: тип бунгало на воде, но есть еще один тип, без окон и террасы. Комната, которую они мне выделили, не требует обслуживания. Даже сиденье унитаза сломано. Душ хороший, но окно в туалете разбито. Я просил отремонтировать, но не приехал. Им необходимо четко указать тип номеров, которые они предлагают, и не вводить вас в заблуждение!

We were told our booking was not recognised although we made booking through their own website, with booking confirmation number emailed. They only informed us about this just days before our flight. This was after continuous unsuccessful attempts to contact them. Avoid this resort at all cost!

Wow, what a venture of paying money just to encounter all the bad experiences that all the ex-guests have submitted. Guys! We can really be confirmed that all the bad reviews below are true! 1. Poor service - Transport is late for one hour to the resort with no explanation and apologizes. The room is not completed with the toiletries and we need to take towel ourselves at counter. There is no toilet paper, you need to clean after yourself with water bucket. 2. Staff not friendly - Our standard is quite low, We don't expect smiles from staff, especially if they work overtime with low pay at Malaysia. But...the staff at Lato Lato are really not friendly at all, we can even say they are rude, for example, every time before we open our mouth (it's not even about complaints or requests), their face already turns to sour, and the replied they gave is often one word with little but no explanation. If we want to seek more explanation, their face turns more sour, signalling that they are unwilling to tell you more. 3. Broken and poor facilities - Our balcony rooftop has many huge holes on it. The wooden bridges have holes to them. You can only shower with a bucket of cold water. 4. Not a secure place - windows cannot be closed as the lock is spoiled. Our windows are being forced open when we go out for our island hopping trip. Luckily no item has been stolen as we have brought all our valuable things with us to the islands. 5. Free breakfast, lunch and dinner? more like foods that are provided to beggers. Food prepared is not enough for the number of people check-in to the hotel. Although there are timing given to breakfast, lunch and dinner, be prepared to arrive early before the given timing as the food portion are limited and you need to fight for the food or else and it will be gone very fast. No re-fill after the food is finished. Imagine if you didn't manage to eat and your stomach will be empty for few hours. Food variations are the same for everyday too. 6. Dangerous - during one of the night of our stay, the wind and rain were so strong that the whole chalet was moving. We was wondering how to escape if the resort don't have any transport at night. In the morning we saw one of the in-progress chalet has been stumbled to the ground.
