Inside the garage you will find two kayaks with two life jackets, two swimming tubes, two sets of flippers and three goggles, two fishing poles, net, fully stocked tackle box and bait bucket. His and hers Mountain Bikes, a corn hole game, three camping chairs, fire-starters (paper) and a camp shovel for the fire pit and finally- bug spray.The new pavilion has comfortable seating for 8, tables and overhead fan with light. The controller can be found on one of the cedar posts. Outside lighting is throughout the landscape, along the paths, steps and planters for your convenience and safety at night.The expanded driveway can now easily accommodate four cars.Seneca Lake, the largest and deepest of all the Finger Lakes, recognized as the Lake Trout Capital of the World is a casual boat ride via the canal. Off our NEW 40 foot, deep water dock with a NEW Power Tower, you can swim, fish or just relax nearby on the 5 Adirondack chairs that surround the fire pit, or relax (most likely sleep) on the hammock while seeing boats of every size and description go by. This new apartment on Cayuga Lake is in the middle of New York's famous Finger Lakes. Seneca Falls is a quaint, quiet community surrounded by dozens of wineries, scenic trails, parks, boating, fishing - a vacation paradise, and home to the National Women's Hall of Fame. Your private deck overlooks the lake, plus there's a shared pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), deck and grill. 2 bedrooms, full tiled bath, huge modern kitchen, and hi-def TVs in the living room and bedrooms w/free Prime Video, Hulu & Disney+.Other things to note1. The apartment is on the second floor and the pool deck is four steps up, so neither is handicapped-accessible.2. The pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. If weather is exceptionally warm it may open earlier or close later, but no guarantees!3. When we began hosting in July 2019 we used a great company, Evolve Vacation Rentals. They got us started, including posting our rental on VRBO and other sites. We've since cut the Evolve cord and are now dealing with VRBO directly.The downside of the switch is that VRBO considers this a brand new listing, so none of our reviews for 2019 and 2020 (all 5 stars!) migrated over from Evolve. You can tell owners have attempted to cover all the bases when it comes to any single creature comfort you may desire on your stay. There are 3 smart TVs which have several apps such as Hula and Netflix pre-installed so you would have no problem finding something to watch. Kitchen has any type of accessory you could possibly need...blenders, mixers, keurig..even an air fryer. Many nicer than the ones I have in my own home. Kitchen is open, granite tops and very functional and leads to a deck which has a beautiful view of the lake to enjoy. The pool outside is pretty much your own to enjoy. They had several floats for us to use. Owners are very humble, gracious and accommodating. They are available if you need them but are pretty much invisible for the most part. You can tell they take personal pride and desire to provide a perfect stay which is heartfelt and not based on money or fear of a bad review. You have to take a short walk to the lake but it is peaceful and serene. At the lakeside there are 3 Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. My daughter wanted to make smores and to my surprise the owner had a water proof container with newspaper,kindling wood, and lighter. There was also plenty of free firewood to enjoy as well. Doesn't seem like much but when on vacation especially short 3 day stay like ours you don't need hassle of going to the store to get things you may have not had for-site to bring. As far as location there is a real cool restaurant within walking distance. We only had take out because of Covid but it looked like it would be a blast in the summertime. Would highly recommend this property for your stay. Owner wanted me to come up with something which would make the stay better and as much as I wished to honor his request I couldn't come up with anything. They thought of every last detail to make it a comfortable place to stay; from Tupperware to extra blankets and games. The apartment has a beautiful view of the lake and you can walk down the driveway across a very quiet road to sit by the lake. We understand beds are very subject but they were a little too soft for us. This was the only thing that could have made the stay more comfortable for us, but I am a high maintenance sleeper! The owners were very nice and waved hello in the driveway and made sure we had everything we needed. We have been coming to the Finger Lakes annually for over a decade and have struggled to find “our spot” but I think this is it!
