Chefs will feel right at home in the well-stocked kitchen, which includes an electric griddle, waffle maker, Crock Pot, blender, drip coffee maker, Keurig, and more.Upon entering, guests will be wowed at the wall of windows that showcase the north-facing view. You won’t want to miss the stunning sunsets from the deck! The open floor plan allows for ample hangout space, with the kitchen, living room, and dining area comprising the main level communal space. The great room features an impressive stone fireplace with gas logs, which is available for use from October-March, and a large TV. There are two bedrooms flanking the living room, one of which is the spacious master. Both bedrooms have king size beds, adjacent full baths and have direct access to the deck. The loft bedroom, which overlooks the living room, has a king size bed and its own bathroom. Unlike traditional loft bedrooms that are open to the room below, this one has fully enclosed walls and a door, making it a true private bedroom.Bring the fun downstairs to the rec room where you'll find a pool table, Multicade arcade system, and another large TV. The brand new movie theater has comfortable seating for 7. In the theater room, guests may watch DirecTV or log in to their own streaming accounts on the smart projector. Located on the bottom floor is the heated indoor pool, with a maximum depth of 3 ft. Pool towels are included. For safety, the door to the pool room has a digital keypad lock. Just steps from the rec room, you will find the outdoor hot tub, which comfortably seats 6 adults. In addition to the rec room, there are 2 bedrooms located downstairs, one has a king size bed and one has four twin bunks and a sleeper sofa. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The next day you can cool off at Splash Country and end the day at Dixie Stampede's or one of the many other wonderful dinner shows in the area.If your looking for a more quiet day, you are just a short drive to so many beautiful hikes we have here. In Cades Cove, you can hike to Abrahams Falls (moderate), Laurel Falls is just down the road, or if you are looking for a little more history, head over to the Walker Sisters home or go over to Elkmont Ghost Town. Elkmont was know as Millionaires Row where the wealthy families, in the early 1900's, vacationed. There you will find miles of hiking along with original homes to explore. If you want to stay closer to the cabin, you will have complimentary access to Honeysuckles Pool and Deli where the kids can swim in their pool and dad can fish in their pond. Metcalf bottoms is just a hop, skip and a jump away and offers pavilions, grills and restrooms right next to the Little River where everyone can cool off in the shallow waters. If you plan on staying in for the day, we have plenty to offer for entertainment. You will find a relaxing firepit to enjoy while we also have yard games for those who have energy to play. You can pick from corn hole, yard darts, or ladder ball along with plenty of indoor games, as well. We have an ice cream maker available(rock salt included), so make sure to bring the ingredients along for some homemade ice cream. Your group will love sitting in the rockers on the porch enjoying the mountain view while eating their favorite flavor.What is very unique about staying at Sunset Meadows is we offer an outdoor theater. Get the fire pit going., make up some smores and gather up and enjoy watching either DVD/BluRay or stream movies under the stars.
