Stayed here for my first trip to Seville between 8th-12th Mar 22. Reception at hotel and check in: Cold and nonchalant. Even when you step up close to the receptionists, you have to be the first to say Hello/Hola to get their attention. This seems to be the standard the hotel receptionists provide to their customers as i witnessed many of such occasions. I was served by a senior looking lady "Mabel" and i specifically informed her i would like a quiet room in Spanish language and she nodded her head. I also told her i would like to pay the full amount for my stay and she appeared stunned and asked me twice if i want to pay now and in full ?! I was perplexed with her reaction. And, she could speak English. Super noisy room: The room she provided for me was on the second floor right in front of the road and where all the tour buses stops in front of the hotel. You could hear the people below talking when you open your window that let in some fresh air. Plus, it was right outside the 3 lifts landing AND the cleaners' room!!! Now, it was me who was stunned as i asked for a quiet room and Mabel took quite a while to search for a room. This left my 4 nights in Seville with a bad sleep, miserable and there were more... Next, the hotel said there is no air-con as it is winter and there is only heater. Guess what, there was no heater and no air ventilation at all. I had to repeatedly inform the front desk to a stout big sized guy who finally said he will send a technician up. The technician, upon me opening my door for him immediately blurted out some loud words (non english) and with his arms wide opened and shaking his head. I did not understand what he was saying and i kept telling him there is no ventilation and i was perspiring. He finally put his hands to the air vent of the heater/air con He then called the reception and the reception offered me a fan for the room. So, there was really no ventilation and the reception told me i can keep my window open also?1? With that noise, how to sleep??? Gosh, i paid for a hotel room with a fan - one that has dust on it also ?!? I took it as they refused to change the room and it was really stuffy. While the hotel said it was winter, in the day time, Seville weather can turn up the temperature to a full sun with a sweltering heat during this period and some people were in T-shirts and shorts only and on several days when i was there this happened, leaving the room feeling very warm..I had to leave the window and fan on until i go to bed every night... The street noise together with people taking at the lift landing while waiting for the lift and cleaners' pulling out their wares and talking in the mornings plus the stuffy room ( i off the noisy fan at night) make the stay most noisy ever and very uncomfortable....i was wishing my 4 night stay will be over soon all the while from this hotel. Distance to city centre: I walk fast and it takes me about 20 minutes every time to reach the city centre. It is co
