Our Date of stay : 28.12.21 / 29.12.21. As the title suggests , it’s an ok ok place for staying over-night on way to Manali if you have started late from Chandigarh and don’t want to do the distance non-stop. The road after Mandi till Kullu is quite bad and takes more than 3 hours. Here I would suggest if you are also planning a visit to MANIKARAN, best is you go directly from here before climbing to Manali. MASHOO RESORTS is a small hotel almost on the highway just before Kullu ( Bhuntar ) The rooms are small with just basic furniture and linen, NO HOT WATER KETTLES, NO COFFEE MAKER. Though they provide room-heaters on request, but these are only for name-sake, and do not warm up the rooms in any way. Bathrooms are ok with 24 hours running hot water . Now for staff and food part. The staff is very very co-operative and good-natured, they provided us hot drinking water on arrival even at 1.30 AM, and the next day they made fresh breakfast only exclusively for us as we were very late in getting up. The food is just fantastic , though the spread is basic but its so tasty and fresh that it easily beats any gourmet dining. Mr Rao is a nice gentleman and he kept guiding us all the way. All in all , a mixed bag.
