Namu Zhuo Manor - Oxygen-Equipped Courtyard Room

The hotel is located inside the Old Town very close to the famous temple. The location is very convenient. I walked everywhere inside the Old Town and never had to take a Didi. From the room I booked you had a really nice view of the temple from the bed and the bathtub. It‘s romantic at night. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed including an oxygen machine that really helps with the sleep at high altitudes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked a trip to Meili Snow Mountain last minute and the staff organised everything for me such that I really only had to go to the pickup location at the time they communicated and enjoy the trip without any organisational problems. I would book this hotel again if I come back to Shangri-La.

A cozy and thoughtful stay – perfect for cat lovers and travelers with luggage! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a very comfortable experience. One thing that really stood out was the host’s thoughtfulness—they came to pick us up from the drop-off point, which was incredibly helpful since there were 3 of us, all carrying large luggage. That kind of service really makes a difference after a long journey! Another lovely surprise: the hotel has 3 adorable cats! My family are huge cat lovers, so this was definitely a highlight for them. The cats roam around the common areas and add a homely, relaxed feel to the place. The layout of the hotel is also worth mentioning—it’s well-designed and gives off a very cozy and peaceful atmosphere. You can tell there was some care put into the decor and space. I also appreciated that they provide proper towels instead of disposable one-time-use options. It’s small details like these that show the place values sustainability and guest comfort. A couple of small things to improve: One thing that was a bit annoying was the small step at the entrance of the shower/toilet area—it’s there to prevent water from leaking, but it’s very easy to accidentally kick it. I hit my foot on it twice… ouch! Also, they didn’t provide a floor mat for after the shower, so we ended up using one of the hotel towels on the floor. Not a big deal, but something to note for future guests (or for the hotel to consider adding). Overall, a pleasant and cozy stay with a few small things that could be improved. Still, I’d recommend it—especially if you love cats and want a peaceful, walkable location!friends to keep you company!

We arrived a little bit late to the hotel but the owner/hotel is already ready to greet us. They are super friendly and super helpful! Our rooms are located upstairs but they helped us with all our crazy luggages with a swift.. Walking distance to the ancient town where you can get a feet soak and massage for 68yuan and the masseuse was really good! The owners got 3 cute cats running around playing and enjoying themselves like us. Highly recommended! The room is spacious, with basic amenities and there is also extra blanket given because it is freaking cold in Xiangelila.. We enjoyed so much!!!

It is very clean and new hotel that located near to the old town. Breakfast provided is delicious, and they do have a restaurant beside that served good food.

Located in Dukezong ancient town and only 5 mins walking to central location of the town, Hotel is very clean and looks brand new and with free washing machines provided for usage.strongly recommend to stay there.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful time there. The staff is friendly and caring. I regret that I forgot to hug them before I left. The hotel has washing and drying machines. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is also fantastic. Reasonable price and good taste. The ladies in the kitchen almost made me cry by offering me something special that I will never forget. Their kind gesture made me love the people of Shangri-la even more. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
