Large rooms, free mini bar, amazing food buffet style, beautifully maintained gardens and a 9 hole golf course , bird watching walkways, cycle and kayak rides! Total value for money luxury resort. And for our rotary club long weekend getaway from chennai was perfect with a one hr direct flight…

I had an amazing stay at Kimmane Golf Resort, Shimoga. I was upgraded to Suite-A, the best room in the resort with beautiful views of the pool and golf course. The food was exceptional—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and well-prepared. The resort offers plenty of activities like golfing, kayaking, bird watching, nature walks, swimming, and indoor/outdoor games, ensuring there’s always something to do. A nice touch was the separate accommodation and meals provided for drivers, reflecting their thoughtful hospitality. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and recreation—I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Surrounded by lush greenery and serene water bodies, the property offers a truly rejuvenating escape from the hustle of city life. You can spend your day simply relaxing within the resort, taking in the fresh air and natural beauty, or exploring the resort’s green lands. For those who enjoy staying active, there's a well-kept golf course that adds a sporty touch to the tranquility. The food deserves a special mention—each meal was a delightful experience, clearly crafted with passion and finesse by the chef. A big shoutout to Umesh and Anand for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. They made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay—thank you for making our trip even more memorable! Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in style, surrounded by nature, with every comfort thoughtfully provided.

Nice to place to relax. Good food. Natural attractions nearby including, of course, the world-famous Jog Falls. The environment is very natural. The staff is very friendly. They have considerable number of activities in addition to a golf course: Bird-watch walk, archery, golf practice range, etc.

During our trip to Shivamogga, Karnataka, Kimmane Golf Resort exceeded all our expectations, making our friends and family get-together truly memorable. The beautiful resort, nestled in a serene environment, offered wonderful amenities that catered to all our needs. The large, comfortable rooms provided ample space for relaxation, ensuring everyone felt at home. The helpful hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, delivering exceptional service with a friendly attitude. Whether we were enjoying the well-maintained golf course, relaxing by the pool, or dining at the resort's excellent restaurant, every moment was enhanced by the resort's top-notch facilities and stunning surroundings. Kimmane Golf Resort is the perfect destination for a family retreat or a gathering with friends, offering a blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

The interiors and seating both indoors and outdoors was pleasant and scenic; while we chose to sit inside and encountered the usual issues with the flies , the food was great and the view from our table magnificent ; definitely worth a visit /stop over if and when in Shimoga . Minimal non-vegetarian options ( chicken kebab , local chicken curry , mutton biryani ) still delicious but the mutton biryani was disappointing . While the non-vegetarian options might have been limited , the vegetarian section boasted of cascade of mouth watering options and were surprisingly tastier . To wash down this feast , the dessert spread was exquisite. Everything from payasam , kaju barfi to red velvet cakes to Rasgulla to ice cream to lime tarts , my particular favorite was the chocolate pudding /a.k.a the brownie pudding. Payasam was a tad bit disappointing . An added feature was that breads, chapattis , phulkas , rotis were made to order, so nothing reached the table cold. The staff were very helpful , polite and definitely add to the allure of the place .Hats off to the head chef , chef Arun for overall, the tastiest spread.

If one has to describe this resort Kimmane Resort in one word then it would simply be 'Paradise' ! Visit this place and you will be amazed to see and feel how they have created such a serene, quiet and lush green property in Shimoga. The Golf Club and Resort owner Mr. J G Kimmane meeting us was truly an honour. A memory that we will cherish for life time. Coming to the staff we would say they are humble, helpful and hospitality oriented ! Everyone looks forward to make you feel special. The GM Mr. Devendra Singh dev_prataps greets you and talks to you with such warmth that makes you feel the comfort of your home. The reception staff Vishnu made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Food at the restaurant SAA is great. Loved the Hasiru Mutton Saaru with Muddhe made by Chef Arun ! Restaurant staff Suman and Tapas are always on their toes to give you the best of service. Music at the Bar is superb. We stayed in the Club Suite and the Panaroma Suite. They are huge in space, bright and colorful with beautiful view and classy interiors. They have a well maintained pool and gym which were of great use to us. And the golf course is a treat to the eyes.

Beautiful place nestled in lap of nature, expansive golf turf very well maintained. The staff was very courteous and helpful with all the activities in the resort. Spa was also great. Chef Arun was the perfect host churning out great cuisine. All in all good food, beautiful place and lot of activities for everyone, had a perfect stay.
