Fountain Anguilla

Fountain Anguilla had excellent accommodations on a beautiful part of Anguilla near its Northeastern tip. Very helpful, and unintrusive staff . Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and other attractions. Clean, cool pool to enjoy after snorkeling on the reefs or walking on the beaches in front of the Fountain. Look forward to returning soon! Thanks !

Our stay at Fountain was better than we expected. Even with all the positive reviews, we were still blown away with the incredible service from before check-in until we were on our way home. The entire staff at Fountain were courteous, helpful and kind. Denise was there to meet us upon our arrival and easily accessible by message if she wasn't on the property. She helped us by personally calling restaurants and beach clubs for lunch and dinner suggestions and reservations, helped me work out our departure day plan so we didn’t spend unnecessary time at the airport, offered ideas about where to visit when. We reserved a 2-bedroom garden view for Spring Break. Our hope was that it the kids could enjoy the pool easily from the room while we got to relax. We had the Sea Grape Suite, which despite the "garden view" classification has a gorgeous view of the ocean from all the porches! We were delighted. The lanais were quiet and private, we felt like we were in our own tropical oasis enjoying coffee every morning with the local chickens pecking around the lawn. Our kids LOVED having their own room with full bathroom (with 2 sinks) and it was so nice for us as parents to have our own space too. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed it every evening after beach hopping, and on a rare rainy morning for a little rainy day swim. It seems like the pool is skimmed daily and fully serviced at least once per week. Beds were so comfortable and bedding was soft and luxurious. We had plenty of beach towels and bath towels, which were replenished every day. Stays of 6 days or less receive daily trash and towel service (not a full clean), but we were pleasantly surprised to find that we also had beds made when the room was quickly serviced. We didn't really need full housekeeping, since we kept our unit tidy and spent most time out of the room. It was wonderful to have a fully outfitted kitchen with full sized refrigerator + freezer with filtered water and ice. The kitchen had everything we needed - pots, pans, dishes etc, plus pitchers, drip coffee maker, toaster, full size stove + oven, microwave, hot water kettle, dishwasher, dish towels, dish soap and sponges. We picked up breakfast, jugs of bottled water and snack foods at the grocery store to have when we were back in the room- it's shocking what an appetite kids (and adults) can work up relaxing on the beach- ha! There is a laundry room right next door to the unit - this keeps the room from getting hot but still very convenient to throw in a quick load of laundry mid-stay. Fountain provided laundry detergent for two loads which was so helpful. It seemed all units had access to washers and dryers. The walk to gorgeous Shoal Bay East beach is about 5 minutes down a gravel path (shoes recommended) - then kick off your flip flops and take a 6-10 minute walk along the water to Tropical Sunset to enjoy the complimentary beach chairs provided with your stay. We just finished our first trip to Anguilla - 2 weeks at the Fountain Anguilla. We love the location. Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable with great views. The staff headed by Prudence was very helpful with the ferry, car rental and dinner reservations. We have been to several Caribbean islands and this is now clearly our favorite. Looking forward to returning next year.

First time to Anguilla and we picked a winner with Fountain. We had a 1 BRM Pool view Penthouse and it was great. Nice view of the ocean and the pool. Great balcony with a dining table with 4 chairs and 2 other nice "lounges". Well equipped kitchen to allow us to eat breakfasts in other than a couple of visits to Le Bon Pain for some French treats. Met a number of really nice people that were staying there - post beach dip in the pool. Ate locally at Artisan, Pit Stop by Ben and Hibernia - all were terrific - make reservations. Prudence will set you up if you don't feel like doing it your self. Also ate a Veya and Straw Hat. Hard to get a bad meal on the island. We did a half day sail & snorkel with Tradition, hike and cave tour with Katouche led by Boston (with 2 B's), night kayak with Liquid Glow led by Lynn and an Island Tour with Clemvio at Quest. All are very worth doing. All in all got to 11 different beaches. What made Anguilla unique for us was the combination of so many great beaches and dining options. We've found that dining in the Caribbean is usually either fairly limited or mediocre.

We had a great experience staying in the Tamarind unit. Billed as 'the penthouse', really that just means the third floor (and there is no elevator), our unit was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were able to store jugs of fresh water in the large refrigerator and warm up some leftovers in the microwave. The living area had a large television and plenty of seating with doors leading out to the deck with had two seating areas. The bedroom was incredibly large and the bed was extra-comfy. The bathroom was also spacious with a walk-in shower. Safe is in the bedroom which is where we stored our passports. The walk to the beach isn't bad, just maybe a five-minute walk past the pool and down the hill. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean with plenty of pool-side seating. We would stay here again.

My family loved the Fountain Anguilla. Excellent location and short walk to absolutely stunning beach. The condo was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. The Fountain staff were very helpful and friendly and kept the condo and grounds immaculate. It’s a very reasonable alternative to the costly luxury hotels. The beach lounger setup at Tropical Sunset was great!
