Fountain Anguilla

April 21, to April 25, 2024 We had a wonderful experience at Fountain Anguilla. Merlyn and Prudence were a pleasure to work with leading up to and during our stay. The property is beautifully landscaped, well-maintained, offers ample lighting and is a short 5 min walk to a beautiful white sand beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. Free outdoor parking in the property. Our room "Seabreeze" was wonderful - - clean, well-maintained and thoughtfully decorated. The mattress was very comfortable as well as the pillows. The towels were good quality. It was a nice surprise to stay at a property that offers quality toilet paper. More electrical outlets would have been nice, but we worked with what was in the room. Highly recommend the Fountain Anguilla!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fountain Anquilla. We stayed in a studio suite which had a drip coffee maker , small microwave and small fridge. It was even better than we imagined! Remember there are only stairs to your unit, no elevator. Housekeeping were great and there is a washer and dryer on each floor so you can pack light! The walk around the corner to the beach was always fun and felt like a tropical escape. The complimentary chairs at Tropical sunset was a plus! The pool at the fountain was great and very quiet. We were the only ones there. The studio units are a lockout to the two bedroom units. You can definitely hear the adjacent unit that has a full kitchen, stove etc so there was ‘kitchen noise and conversation that spilled over. It did not bother us at all but could other people. A car is definitely recommended if you want to reach out to other areas. Taxi’s are available but can certainly add up. Prudence hooked us up with a driver and that was awesome. I have rented a car on former visits but just didn’t want to drive this time. The Zemi Beach House Resort is right next door to Fountain and we absolutely loved dining there or renting their beach chairs. (That was an awesome deal FYI and we did it 3 times.) I found the food at Zemi well priced and the portions generous. Highly recommend renting chairs and having beach service there. $50 /chair and you get that back towards food and drink credit! I will definitely stay here in the future. The beach is spectacular and Prudence the property manager puts the P in PERFECT!

We loved our stay at Fountain. Prudence was so friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first stay in Anguilla. She quickly responded to our emails before our visit. Once there, we'd pop in and ask about different beaches and places to eat. She always steered us in the right direction. We rented a one bedroom penthouse poolside unit and were very satisfied. We like making breakfast in, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The balcony is huge and does have a good view of the water. The bed was a king and very comfortable. We enjoyed the walk-in shower in the bathroom. Everyone working at Fountain was friendly and accommodating. We did try the walk to the beach at Tropical Sunset. It is do-able, but we preferred to hop in our rental car and take the two minute drive. We thoroughly enjoyed walking up to the restaurant for a leisurely lunch. For lunches, there are quite a few walkable place on the beach besides Tropical Sunset. For dinner, you can walk to Zemi, or drive three minutes to Maderiman or Ocean Beach Club at Manoah Hotel. Both were very good and right on the beach. If you don't mind the 25 minute drive at night, there are lots of places for dinner at Mead Bay. We decided to drive there for lunch at Straw Hat and loved it. At Rendevous Bay, Prudence suggested Sunshine Shack. It took us a while to navigate the dirt roads to get there, but it was well worth it! They have lounges there, too, but we preferred using our rental chairs. For a great barbecue take out, definitely try Ken's. We also found that Le Bon Pain is a great place for take-out baguette sandwiches. Both are reasonably priced. We're seriously considering another vacation in Anguilla and will stay at Fountain. Shoal Bay is beautiful, and there's so much more to explore!

I loved staying here. Tucked away, V idyllic, comfortable units, landscaped pool area etc. Access to beautiful Shoal Bay a few mins by foot or car (car recommended!). Front desk (Merlyn and Prudence) extremely warm and gracious as were all people working at Fountain Anguilla. Hope I get the opportunity to return!

So happy to find a reasonably priced, clean place to stay on Anguilla. Friendly staff Prudence and Merlyn available to answer questions and check in with you. The studio unit was more than enough space for me and I really didn't need a full kitchen. As noted the Tropical Beach Bar and Restaurant where the free beach chairs are is a very long walk on the beach. For me it was easier to walk on the road, as very few cars pas by and it's flat. Also, you pass a restaurant called Hanks in the hills on the way which I would stop and by food to go. The pool is nice, but always seem to have stuff floating around in it. The location is quiet and as it's next door to Zemi Beach Hotel where I would go there for a couple of dinners. Looking forward to returning next year.

Introduction: Finding Our Island Retreat When my fiance and I started planning our return trip to Anguilla, we had a crystal-clear vision in mind. What's more, the resort's idyllic location on the pristine shores of Shoal Bay East, a beach that had already stolen my heart during my previous visit in February, made our choice easy. Booking our stay was a breeze, thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the property management team at Refined Retreats. Sherri and Lori, in particular, were exceptional in addressing my numerous questions with patience and precision. Their guidance and assistance in selecting the perfect accommodation for our 15-day island adventure made us feel like we were making the 'right' choice. We also rented an SUV from Andy Connor, and we can't recommend him enough for hassle-free car rentals. Location: The Oasis by the Ocean The location of Fountain Residences is undeniably one of its most remarkable attributes. Nestled just a short 2-minute stroll away from the enchanting Shoal Bay East, this property offers a uniquely elevated perspective. Most upper-level apartments grant you at least partial ocean views, a breathtaking sight to greet you each morning. Perched adjacent to the esteemed Zemi Beach Resort, Fountain Residences boasts a serene ambiance with a backdrop of villas and vacant lots, ensuring a tranquil and peaceful retreat. The only delightful 'disturbance' in this calm haven is the occasional visit from friendly roosters and chickens, enhancing the island's charm. During our stay, the serenity was unparalleled, making it an ideal place to relax, unwind, and recharge. It's worth noting that there are a handful of beach bars and restaurants within walking distance, including Zemi, Gwen's, and Tropical Sunset, with a few more further up the beach. However, dinner options seemed limited, so having a car to explore the island is advisable. Nevertheless, if your primary aim is to bask in the beauty of the beach and embrace tranquility, Fountain Residences is the perfect destination. Accommodation: A Tale of Two Penthouses It's important to note that both penthouses are situated on the second floor, and there's no elevator, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. Pack light, or consider it your daily exercise as you head up ;) Our adventure at Fountain Residences began with the "Windsong" penthouse in the poolside building. It charmed us from the start with partial ocean views and an expansive balcony that quickly became our happy place. It was furnished with a dining set, two comfy lounge chairs, and the essential coffee table - perfect for soaking in the stunning surroundings. But the real star of the show was the kitchen. It was a home cook's dream come true, equipped with everything you

Prudence was great. Very accommodating and always willing to help improve the overall time spent at the hotel.

The Fountain was an exquisite oasis of calm and beauty. As this was our first time in Anguilla, discovering the Fountain was pure serendipity after booking through their website. Upon arrival we realised it far surpassed our imagining. The interiors are island contemporary, thoughtful and bright; wonderful beds, fresh linens, plush towels and beach towels, (lotions, soaps, shampoo, 5-Star!) along with complimentary tickets for chaise lounges and umbrellas at Tropical Sunset--all inspired joy. The beach is exquisite and everyone is welcoming and kind. We were over the moon with this true find! Sherri, Prudence, Merlyn and Pablo went to every length to insure comfort and happiness. The Tamarind room with a balcony to the sea was lovely with divine sunsets. The Fountain and beaches of Shoal Bay and the Malakh spa beach massages were all fragrant reminders that we were truly in paradise. We remain grateful for our time at the Fountain and feel blessed beyond that we found such a haven! Dreaming of our return....

Rebooked for next year 2024 This was our third time staying with the Fountain. We are so satisfied with our stay we rebooked for 2024. The staff are extremely accommodating and always willing to work on making adjustments. We had dealings of cancellation due to COVID and I was truly impressed on how Sherri and staff worked out rescheduling for following year. The staff are incredible especially Prudence and hard working Pablo. Pablo goes above and beyond to make you stay comfortable and happy. Minutes walk to the beach and I would certainly rent a car to explore other beautiful beaches and Resturants. Our unit has all that we need and h beds are very comfortable. There is a great feel of community at the Fountain and we have made lifelong friends.
