This quiet cottage sits right off of HWY 52 in Pinnacle, NC. The property is connected to Pilot Mountain State Park on two sides. PMSP trails can be accessed from here. Right down the road, there is a river access to the Yadkin River and horseback riding trails. Hanging Rock state park and the Dan River are only a few miles away. The historic town of Pilot Mountain is down the road. This cozy little cottage at pilot Mountain is by far amazing. It was perfectly situated to be able to see the mountain. The mountain is literally in the backyard. It was an amazing backdrop that I took wonderful pictures the cottage house everything that you will need for your stay Very easy to maneuver through. It was perfectly located to get to Mount Airy to visit Mayberry and just about a 15 minute drive from Winston-Salem. There is a brand new Walmart. That’s really close by the property was well-maintained by the VRBO host and the grass had been freshly cut so that was very nice and thoughtful by far. This was a five out of five if I could’ve given it a tent and they had 10 stars. I would definitely rate it as a 10 very pleased with my stay

second stay here! Check in and out is super easy. They had it nice and cool when i got there too which was nice cause it was 100 outside! close to trails; walking distance and a lot in driving distance as well. has what you’d need to make a meal in the kitchen but close to town. my only real sugguestion would be to replace the outdoor furniture. it’s not really usable. the front are metal and super hot in the summer and the back ones are just tore up pretty bad. but even if that wasn’t replaced i’d still stay here again haha.

This was great access to Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain and Winston-Salem. 20 min to Mount Airy and WS. The place was comfortable and enjoyable with a beautiful view. I will stay there again! I will bring my own Keurig coffee and bring comfortable slippers to walk around. The floor is not carpeted, no complaints, just advice to bring comfy slippers.

Cozy and Convenient
The little cottage was perfect for me and my pup for a couple nights. Doing some trail run training, it was easy to walk to the trails from the house! Quick response from the host even with a late night check in. would def recommend and will stay again in the future!

Education trip
House was a perfect location, easy to find, close to things. Had everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Beautiful views at the home and close by. Great stay!

Precious little cabin
If you are looking for a tidy little cabin to be 'home base' for a stay in the shadow of Pilot Mountain - This is it. The host was very attentive to my requests and quickly attempted to rectify a noise coming from the H2O heater. I always say: It is less about the problems you encounter and more about how those problems are addressed!Drew did a great job and I highly recommend!

Pinnacle
Location was great, response from Host - quick and a nice piece of property. My only comment is I'm assuming he isn't quite finished with the decro because there were no curtains in the windows and really no place to put you clothes except leaving them in your suitcase. It would be great if there had been a c'est with drawers. Other than that, I would recommend this location.
