Trendy Aspendos Beach Hotel

Been on Holiday at this hotel with my brother and we had a lovely stay end of June beginning of July. Was a bit nervous when booked it as seen some bad reviews that nearly put me off but very happy now they didn’t. It is very true the majority of guests are Germans but we didn’t have a problem with this. We live in the UK but we are born in Romania and we didn’t feel at all treated different or in a bad way. Before starting to actually review the hotel I would say do not book this hotel if you are looking to eat English food, if you want fancy cocktails or if you are expecting to hear perfect English spoken by every single employee. We had a very late flight so arrived at the hotel early ours of morning after a 45 minutes transfer from airport. Check-in went smooth and quick and to our surprise receptionist told us we can eat something at Bistro. Bell-boy took suitcases to our room and gave us all needed informations. We went then to Bistro and had food. They had on offer soup, meats, cheese, butter, jam and some cakes. Our room had sea view and was in block 6. Room was not a luxurious one but was big enough and we had everything we needed for a very nice stay. Usual toiletries were available in the bathroom, then bathrobe and slippers and then sewing kit and shoes kit. To be fair we used the room during day just to change for lunch and during night.Minibar was stocked daily and was pleased to have big bottles of drinks instead of cans. Beer in the minibar was Efes but I rarely drink alcohol so that was enjoyed just by my brother.Gulay Sumer, our cleaning lady done a great job. Only thing that I would have liked to have would have been a mosquito net at the balcony. We are not big fans of pools when on Holiday so we went to the beach every day apart one morning when we stayed by the pool. Was no problem to find sunbeds but I feel they were cramped and enjoyed much better the privacy at the beach. Food was amazing and tasty. You should be really fussy not to find anything to like. Been to many 5* hotels so far but it was the first one where the meat offer at dinner was incredible and we didn’t know what to choose first, plus the cakes were not just looking nice but they were delicious. We used mainly the Buffet restaurants and just once we went to Snack restaurant where they serve Crispy chicken, chips, burgers, pasta, salads, fruits, cakes and gozleme.We enjoyed the service of our evening waiter named Aziz. Slides were good and had a lot of fun. Daily entertainment was varied and performed by Hotel’s Entertainment Team ( beach volley, zumba, belly dance, pool gymnastics, etc) Foam party in the pool was fun too and everybody seem to have a great time Evening entertainment in the Amphitheater was most of the times good. We like best the Mongolian Circus then at the Pool Bar White Party was nice. There is quite a big bazaar with many shops very close to the hotel and was nice to walk around in the evenings. We has our return flight very late even

Just got home from what has been the best holiday ever. I have tried to think of negatives and there isnt any! Having a gluten intolerance i was worried i wouldnt have much choice but everything was labelled wit alergens, so much so ive gained half a stone haha! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, champagne on arrival and cases taken up to our room, nothing was too much for the staff. Special thanks to Smiley who went above and beyond to make our week so amazing! Alisan for being top bar man! Also thanks to our cleaner Gulay (apologies if i have spelt this wrong) who made our room sparkly clean every morning and greatest us every morning with a lovely smile! Only been home a few hours and already cannot wait to return, thank you so much for such happy memories xx

Absolutely fantastic family holiday! Read some reviews complaining about hotel being largely German and catering for Germans, can't see the problem! Yes there are lots of German guests but I'm not sure why that matters, they were lovely! We don't go on holiday to spend it with other people, go to be with our own family- and are glad our boys see different nationalities. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Gizem in the entertainment team was so lovely fussing our little one. Bar and restaurant staff the same and super attentive. The entire hotel is spotless, indoor and out and the beach is beautiful. The food served at the beach bar/ restaurant is also wonderful. Room was a great size (we had the 2 bedroom family room) with fridge restocked daily and the cleaners were brilliant. Champagne in reception on arrival. Myself and my partner had a massage each which was 60 quid for nearly 2 hours- not bad at all and was wonderful. We also did parasailing down at the beach. Location wise the hotel is ideal- right outside the entrance are the taxis/ supermarkets/ markets selling clothes etc. Honestly we could not fault anything about this holiday and are currently looking to book up for next year. We just got back this morning from 2 week stay .we cannot fault this holiday. Trendy aspendos you was a blast .the hotel is spotless they clean constantly .our room was spotless and cleaned daily mini bar top up every day in your room .the bathroom had a super power shower perfection. Food is beautiful .drinks effes cocktails what ever you want is there. I loved the ice cream parlour .massive credit to your hotel is smiley what a great lad he is ,always making you feel welcome .smileys the best 😊. Bar staff round the pool very efficient they work so hard .especially the boy on is roller skates he’s a credit to your hotel .mini mini disco fatih what a great lad he’s amazing with the children. Entertainment on a evening excellent.only downfall we are ENGLISH 2 occasions 2 evenings all we listened to was German music 2 English songs all night rest GERMAN . The restaurant was manic no order we are English stand take a line wait .The German quests just push in front. after you stood waiting to get your food .they are very rude no order in the restaurants .it did put me of going for evening meal.apart from that perfect hotel definitely a 5***** all the staff at this hotel are a credit to you. .we will be returning in June . Because it’s an amazing beautiful place .

Almost everything about this place is spot on and has everything you could wish for. Location is fine , within yards of loads of market stalls selling every bit of fake gear you could think of , also a couple of bars to watch sport in. Dolmus stops outside every 15 minutes to get you to such as Side and it's ruins , well worth a trip but go on an evening when it's cooler , easy to get back via dolmus too. Rooms are spotless with ample space , great showers , and the balcony is small but adequate. Food is excellent with choice galore, certainly no complaints there.The beach bars were a great alternative from the restaurants too. Drinks have a good range with JD our choice of the week . The swimming pool is massive with beds easy to find. So why only 8/10 ? The entertainment can be painful with most of it aimed at the German clientele for which there is plenty. The staff are no doubt hardworking but can be so so annoying , unless you speak German or tip heavily ( we did neither ) you will largely be ignored, even when in a queue for drinks , a couple of times we had to speak up ! This problem needs addressing. Overall I would recommend coming here despite the annoyance of the Staff-German clique .

Honest review of our experince here Hotel... absolutly spotless, staff work thier socks off to keep this so clean. Pool area is huge, never had issue with getting a bed. Nice big pool bar area on evening. Entertainment team.... work hard and certainly put a long shift in, Smiley is so friendly and always took time to chat to us and other guests. Pool party was good and the white party was great night also, always live entertainment on an evening too. There was a gala garden party which was a good night too Food...for gluten free we found this very accomodating, GF bread at breakfast, even pancakes or waffles if we wanted. Lunch, salads and grilled meats outside on bbq, the beach bar had a jacket potato oven which was great and looked like chips were fried by them selves but never tried these down there as jackets were lovely. Only issue we seen was handling the wraps for the kebabs and then touching jackets for cross contamination and using same knife, so we just cut open potato ourselves rather than the chef and never ate skin. Evening meal again, all salads, meats, rices etc all clearly marked with allergy info which is great. Offered pasta and pizza if we wanted. Itailian was brilliant for gluten free, pasta, soup and steak or chicken. Chinese was a bad experience, guest services advise ala carte 24 hours in advance of allergy, we got there to be told nothing was GF apart from duck wraps in pita bread!!, chicken, rice salad soup all contained gluten we double double checked with server he spoke to chef to cobfirm this and he used google translate to confirm it. Not sure if this was just lost in translation. All in all a great hotel should been 4.5 stars but only had choice of 4 or 5. Drinks are strong, you have to ask for smirnoff or abslout or you get local brand All in all a great hotel and holiday

we’ve had yet another brilliant holiday at this holiday, staff amazing and work so hard all day to make sure the place was kept spotlessly clean. Entertainment team all brill and spoke to us daily, lorenzo, smiley and fatih. didn’t get the other guys names. food plenty of choice even for my very picky hubby. the guys doing the drinks from the pool bar in the evening were brill, izmir (sorry if that spelt wrong) was brill never ran out of a drink if he was serving us, but all the bar staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. room was cleaned daily and mini bar restocked if needed, safe was free and we didn’t have any problem with opening it. all in all i couldn’t find any faults, this was our second year here and we will be going back again in september next year. thank you again for another brill holiday

Hotel is clean, food is lovely no complaints. Entertainment team are very friendly, especially Smiley ☺️ would definitely come back here again in the future without a doubt. 10/10 holiday and lovely weather.
