Changi Cove Singapore

On arrival fast and smooth check-in, room is spacious! Breakfast is good, portion size can be slightly more. Overall staff service scored 4/5, need to comment on the great hospitality skill shown by the Malay security officer!This hotel is a hidden gem within the lush greenery! The tranquillity of the area is superb! Is my second stay there and planning to be back!

First and foremost, pls take note to all booking this hotel STANDARD ROOMS HAVE NO FRIDGE (need to pay $30++ a night extra for a fridge!) AND THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL WITHIN HOTEL PREMISES, ITS AT CSC ACCESSIBLE BY THEIR COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE BUS ( I attached the shuttle bus schedule with my review for your reference purposes) ALSO dont take 0421, super far from the lift takes 7-8min depending on walking pace to get there try getting the 08-10 series instead its just nice in the middle,4-5 min walk from lobby... Checked in early thanks to a night duty manager I spoke to (Rahul or Rainu sorry if I got ur name wrong) who helped on the 14th with Khairil the supposed Front Office Manager (His service was subpar and a tad cold unwelcoming, kept INSISTING on my giving a deposit of $200 for my stay even though I wanted to pay cash as and when I consumed anything at the hotel) 1st time being forced to pay a deposit in all my travels and all so CHANGI COVE PLS DO SOMETHING BOUT THIS, NOT ALL CUSTOMERS WOULD CARRY SO MUCH CASH AROUND!) Had to go to an ATM at Tampines to get money out as I was holding a debit card, such a drag, anyway did put in a request for a fridge if possible but that was declined.. I legit have never stayed in any Singapore hotel without a fridge so TBH paying $130-$150 a night Id expect at least a fridge in any case was shut down daily and NO FRIDGE was given.. I was staying for 5 nights so thought hotel would be kind to provide at least that since I legit didnt know bout this NO FRIDGE IN STANDARD ROOM thing... THANKFULLY, the FNB Team were awesome esp RITZ (He was exceptionally friendly and to be honest some of the Front office team could take a lesson from the FNB Team bout welcoming, friendly service), LIPING AND RYAN WHO HELPED ME THROUGHOUT MY entire 6 days stay to store so many bottles of water and random stuff, felt really bad to trouble them but what to do no fridge in the room. Room was fine decent enough loved the egg chair swing in the room but Aircon wasnt working properly during the stay which was kinda tedious to deal with coz it worked on and off,eventually housekeeping lent me a fan which helped a whole lot! Special thanks to Sierra as well from Front Office and her long haired supervisor (sorry forgot your name) for their empathetic, kind service despite certain hiccups and attitude from some of their Front Office team... Lastly thanks to the people I mentioned who made my stay enjoyable even though the checkin was not really a good experience, coz of that U guys got 4 stars instead of 2 stars that I wanted to give. See you guys again!

It’s a nice quaint place for a getaway close to nature. You can hear many birds chirping outside the room. That we extended our stay to 3 nights. Pros: close to nature, quiet and relaxing, clean environment, helpful frontdesk staff, could loan board games like Jenga. We had a nice walk along the Changi Boardwalk to view the sea and sailboats (enter from Changi Sailing Club as part of the boardwalk is closed until Sep 2021). Could see Oriental Pied hornbills just outside the hotel. Comfortable bed. Affordable, and nice view of the Pulai Tree. Could be improved: amenities are basic (only one chair and a beanbag... so a little awkward to eat in room during Phase 2), no minibar in Standard rooms, but you can keep fridge items at the Front desk. I recommend getting breakfast at The Coastal Settlement restaurant for more variety, if you are staying multiple nights.

Nestled in greenery, providing ample opportunity to soak in nature and relax. What we like about it is the quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Went on some walks. Perfect place in Singapore for a quiet and restful retreat.

A pleasant stay with my 2 kids. The air- condition is too cold in the common areas. The swimming pool is 1km away from the hotel. A shuttle bus is provided. Breakfast is good enough for us. Overall we are satisfied with our stay.

Changi Cove Hotel is situated in a corner of Singapore, but near the Changi Airport. It’s clearly designed for corporate and church retreats, and has many meeting rooms (8), a large conference room, and even a large workshop space called the Incubator. All these rooms are equipped with whiteboards, projectors and coffee machines. Even the guest rooms comes with a whiteboard wall for group brainstorms? The location of the hotel is suitable for the purpose mentioned as there are little distractions around, other than Changi Village a few bus stops away. Nature is in abundance and there is even a seaside trail nearby which is worth visiting. For history buffs, there is a small WW2 chapel museum nearby as well (transport needed). To get around, the hotel has a shuttle bus to various places, including an train station to the city, that you can take advantage of. Remoteness was probably the reason why it’s very economically priced (very much half of what is typical hotel price in sg) but the type of rooms are limited. There is only one restaurant on the ground floor and there is no swimming pool (you can use the pool at the adjacent clubs if you ask reception) All in all a nice location for a quiet reflective retreat and a break from the noisy city…

Serenity & peaceful environment. Very good hotel for retreat. Nearby have a very good restaurant with good selection of wine & cocktail and is within walking distance, just nice for a slow walk after meal 😁

Go here only if you are able-bodied and able to climb stairs, looking to escape humanity and don't mind the lack of facilities or having to take a shuttle bus to get anywhere, including the nearest place with shops, Changi Village. As other reviewers online have said, it is quite a walk to your room. This would have been fine with me if the lift hadn't been down for our first day (before we arrived, there was a hotelwide power cut), so we had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to our room from level 3. To get to the pool (at Civil Service Club Changi I, pictured) or Pasir Ris MRT, you need to take the shuttle bus too. As this is an events and conference hotel, the conference hall just behind the lobby has constant drilling all day while backdrops are being set up, making the lobby not so relaxing to sit in. Our room had a mini-fridge and was quite big, amenities inside were fine, with the usual dental kits, shower caps, soap, and the Nespresso machine was an interesting addition. The hotel restuarant White Olive is expensive for the area and seems quite desolate and empty after breakfast though it is manned. The breakfast buffet there was good though, just that the coffee machine runs out of coffee by 915am and staff do not check on this even though breakfast is from 7am to 10am. There is a chef cooking fried eggs. Proximity to Changi Boardwalk was interesting. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to the disabled or elderly, or people who want a happening stay. This hotel is for people who just want to escape the city.
