All in all, the worst budget hotel we ever stayed in. Both receptionists were horribly tempered and impatient, the hotel room was not working and it is not worth paying that little amount to have such a terrible experiance.
Your expectations mustn't be high when in budget hotels but this is really beyond low expectations.
This our experiance at the hotel: the receptionist was not nice from the start and we had to put a $10 dollar refund fee for the card which we were not informed on the website or anything, when I questioned if we will get a receipt, the receptionist said they don't provide it.
We had to go upstairs one level by lift, then go down corridors before going up another level by steps and then through more corridors to reach the room (all lit dully by dim lights except the corridors) - though the site we booked from said we would have windows, our room didn't.
And the room was horrible. The bathroom door didn't work, the small computer monitor that passed as a tv didn't work, the tv control was broken and was pushed back together so the buttons could barely be pressed anyway, there were EXPOSED WIRES near the hot water kettle, the aircon control wasn't working well we had to press the buttons repeatedly when we tried to adjust and the screen that showed what temperature it was at couldn't be seen either (the control was fixed to the wall at waist level), the aircon wasn't working well because it was freezing cold for about 30 minutes before becoming hot for another 30 minutes and kept doing that the whole night, the bed sheets was poorly tucked in and the blanket was another bed sheet that was too thin to really provide any warmth for the times the aircon was cold, the bed was on wheels so any movement we made when turning while sleeping meant the bed moved a lot - terrible to sleep on. We also got a checkout call at 11.45 am the next day by someone who tried to open the door, banged it, pushed against it several times, and kept moving the door handle. I had to call out "Hello?" only to be told "Checkout" and responded by "yes we are going down shortly", there was no answer after that.
When we went down, another receptionist was there who asked us if the telephone wasn't working because he had been trying to call the room and we didn't pick up, so he sent his maid up to remind us. Then he pulls out a piece of paper for me to sign for the refund of $10 and because I am signing it, I take a moment to read and after 3 seconds he says, "just sign here *points, and here *points again, then take the 10 and that's it." After all we been patient and didn't complain, his impatience really was unappealing.
The worst overnight hotel ever no one should waste their money on it.
