Getting the basics out of the way: standard of accommodation was okay - not amazing. It was clean, booking and access were fine. The negative: upstairs had a party from about midnight on Friday night until about 4:30am. Singing, shouting, crashing about, furniture being moved. It's not obvious when this sort of thing starts that it's going to go on all night and we didn't fancy confronting a large group of drunk people, so had a night with very broken sleep, which wiped out the next day. The same didn't happen on the second night because our Spanish friend contacted the owners and threatened them with the police. I've seen a similar review for this property and I know the owners will probably make excuses that it's not their fault, it's inconsiderate guests, but in my opinion they've created the problem. The property is in a block owned by the same company. This means that there are no permanent residents to complain and get issues like this stamped out; the sound proofing between flats is poor. it's not obvious what to do if this sort of thing happens; they haven't screened their guests well / have not warned them against parties. If you want to have a party or don't care about very noisy neighbours, then the flat is ok. If you don't want that then it's a gamble. Either way, find out the contact details and what you should do if there are any issues overnight.
