It’s not often you visit a hotel where the cleaners are happy and smiling, the children’s daycare staff are happy and smiling, the restaurant staff are happy and smiling, the bar staff are happy and smiling, the hotel guests are happy and smiling and most importantly as a family hotel - everyone’s children are happy and smiling!! Even the live chefs in the restaurant were smiling - since when has anyone ever seen a happy chef!? All of this made for a first class experience. Full credit to the hotel management because the staff culture at this hotel must be really good - every staff member takes pride in their work and the high standards of the hotel, which collectively makes a huge difference. Yes the hotel has all of the great children’s facilities that other good children’s hotels have, but for me, the staff here made the difference. I couldn’t believe it when so many staff remembered our children’s names and went out of their way to talk to them, making every child feel really special. The service at dinner and the bar was so fast and professional, and the staff were so nice. We really connected with a waitress called Lucia who was so kind and nice to our children. If I was going to be really really picky, there are only 3 potential improvements I could even conceive for this hotel; i) if it had a spa ii) if the room decor was updated/modernised iii) if the hotel staff took your cases to your room following check-in. My wife and I and our two children (a baby and 3 year old) all had a fantastic family holiday, possibly the best one we’ve had so far as a family unit. We are already planning on returning next year which if you are looking for a family holiday, tells you everything you need to know!
