I wouldn’t say this hotel has been renovated. Just re-themed. There are still popcorn ceilings and the same outdated and very noisy heating system. The walls are super thin. Almost every day of our 6 night stay, we had to ask the concierge for an item that housekeeping forgot to replenish. Usually towels or toilet paper. One day, we came in from a long day skiing and realized the same bathmat we’d left on the floor (as instructed by the hotel) with the towels to be replaced had been picked up from the floor, folded, and placed on the back of the toilet with no replacement given. It was wet. The laundry is coin laundry and it’s only one washing machine and 2 dryers on the 8th and 9th floors. This is not how the laundry situation was described by Heavenly when we called to inquire. The “complimentary” ski valet is usually not staffed and it could take a long time to get or return our skis during peak hours. One positive. Every single person we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was always quick to send an item up if we asked for it. The car and ski valet team were always friendly. Absolutely no complaints about the staff.
