An overall nice hotel. Staff is always pleasant and rooms are always very clean

I had a last minute booking with a late plane into Dulles. Even though it was 8 PM, the woman at the front desk couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. She sent an uber to Dulles to pick me up as the shuttle was elsewhere. Check-in was a breeze. Warm, supportive words go a long way after a tough travel day. The room was large and clean - I asked for little else.

Kind and helpful staff is what made my stay so memorable. Arriving at 1am isn’t fun, but Christina at the front desk was welcoming and wonderful! The rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast had several options to choose from. I’ll happily stay here again!

I’ve stayed at a lot of different home2 suites and Hilton hotels and this one is the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed at. I had the 1 bedroom king suite with a separate sitting area/pull out sofa bed. When we checked in, I had already checked in on my app and selected my room. The front desk proceeded to give me keys to a different room. When I asked, they responded with, this is the only room available. When we got into the room, the pillows for the sofa bed had a blood stain, sweat stains and several hairs on them. The kitchen counter was stained and not wiped, kitchen backsplash was plastered with several stains, carpet not vacuumed well, if at all and the bathroom floor was very dirty with several stains and hairs, which continued into the shower. The bathroom walls had several spots, splatters throughout. I called to the front desk and they switched my room. They gave me the room I had originally selected when I checked in on my app, so I guess there really were other rooms available. This room was slightly better but not much. The dirt/grime and hair continued throughout the hotel. Hallway floors were not vacuumed. The bathroom in the lobby was disgusting, with hairs and grime everywhere. I will never stay here again. For close to $200 a night, you should get a clean room.

I stayed here for a 3 day conference at the nearby Marriott. I appreciated having a lot of space, particularly storage space to stow stuff, and it allowed me a desk space and a separate place to eat. The room's almost full kitchen with dishware, dishwasher and full fridge let me eat pretty economically, taking food for lunch in an ice chest. I felt the hotel rate was good given it provided all of that. Hotel is near a Harris Teeter grocery store so I picked up prepared food/salad items there. Hotel looks pretty new and all staff I encountered were courteous and friendly. Hotel was on the edge of a nice residential neighborhood and convenient to Route 50. Why four stars? - the toilet was running noisily and periodically which was bothersome at night and occasionally wouldn't flush. In fairness to the hotel I did not report this until checkout as I really did not want to deal with having plumbers working on the toilet and it would eventually flush. In addition, the spa/pool were out of order when I was there and the roofed drive through area by the entrance was taped off due to work being done - neither were big issues, but it would be nice to have this info on the site if not available.

Very great facilities and is wonderfully dog-friendly. The staff we very friendly and helpful throughout our week-long stay. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great way to start the day. Wi-Fi was also very strong and allowed us to be able to zoom without issues.

Insufficient toilet paper. No soap/body wash in the shower. Sinks that didn't drain. Disposal that didn't work. Lamps not plugged in. Front desk completely non-responsive when I gave them a list of things to fix. I mean, what kind of host doesn't leave enough toilet paper or soap for guests?

The pillows are fluffy, the bed is comfortable and the staff is nice, but that is about it for us. Upon checking in our room was cleaned sub par at best. The floors had someone else's hair on them (lots) and their was dirt on the floor smeared by a dirty mop. The linens for the pull out bed were dirty and stuffed in the cabinet and we did not have enough towels and washcloths in the bathroom. The room sleeps "six" but was only stocked for 2 people. The staff was polite and worked quickly to try and correct the situation. They brought towels and linens and cleaned the floors again. However, the floors were still nasty. We bought a swiffer to clean again. Their is also no where to hang towels or robes or anything extra in the bathroom. We had to hang towels and wash cloths on handles and shower fixtures to dry. They provided one little rack. The bathroom faucet only has a trickle of water and you can't do anything with it. We brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. Also the toilet roll holder is broke and the roll keeps falling off. Oh, and you won't find a great breakfast here either. My kids love the hotel breakfast usually offered at H2S, but at this one, they went once and did ask to go back again. We went and bought breakfast to keep in our room instead. The food choices were very limited as was the space to sit. It's definatly not as nice as other H2S we have been to. For this place to have been built on 2018 you can tell that the property is just not well maintained. It's not regularly cleaned well because grim is built up in corners and joints in the suite. Our room looks like a 2 star hotel that has been around for at least 15 years. It's has grimy corners, grout lines and floors. The carpet and furniture is fine but the hard floor and bathroom are yuck. I'm disappointed because property is fairly new and we always stay in Home2 Suites, but we won't be staying at this particular one again. Rude & Incompetent staff! Dirty pool area with no towels. Sauna has no jet power. Housekeeping & maintenance just enter your room for no reason, even with a DND on the door & fire alarms going off intentionally daily by the staff. This is a ridiculously ran hotel. They should be stripped of the Hilton name.

My trip was for two reasons -- to have an overnight staycation and to make sure I had enough nights to preserve my Silver HHonors status. This hotel was definitely worth the room rate charged. I had a king bed studio suite; it had a sofa bed as well, so 2 people could easily have used the room (3-4 if both beds are shared). There's a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, microwave, and full dinnerware for 6 people. As others have mentioned, they will provide a countertop burner unit upon request. The bathroom is shower-only; the water is heated quickly and the showerhead is high enough so that only the tallest person (over 6 feet) will need to duck. The pool area is a decent size -- hot tub is relaxing and the pool itself is a good size for a hotel. Probably not enough room to swim laps if there are others in the area though. The free breakfast is generous. I didn't time my arrival well this morning as they were out of a few items but did restock quickly once the first rush was over. Note that this is a pet-friendly property so you may have animal noises from adjoining rooms. The dog in the room next door barked and whined for about an hour in the evening but once his humans returned he was quiet/ The shower has the large bottles of bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner attached to the wall. I suggest checking those supplies when you arrive, so that you can immediately get more if needed. Mine were empty and I didn't realize that until I stepped into the shower; I just used the soap by the sink, and all worked out OK. I also had no lotion in my room but I'd brought my own. These glitches, plus the noise from pets, is what makes me give four rather than five stars. As for dining, there's a Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell within walking distance. There are many restaurants and at least one grocery store within a short drive.

We travel to the Ashburn/ Brambleton VA area at least twice yearly. We have stayed at this Hilton property at least 3 times in 15 months. Great location, clean rooms, very family focus staff. Breakfast is great with various selections. Lobby clean and fresh coffee and tea and chocolate is always available. Gym is clean and maintenance is good. Nice place to stay for an individual, couple and or family.
