The house had a lot of character and the apartment was sufficient for our needs. It was well appointed and the communication was great. It did have a musty smell that I would assume comes with such an old house, but it could have been a little cleaner. The fridge had dried spillage in it and there were some things on the floor that should have been vacuumed up. Otherwise it was peaceful and quiet and private.

Great Stay This was a great property! Beautiful and spacious enough for our family of four. Owner had quick communication when I panicked and could not find the property after GPS took me clear to the other side of town . We didn’t use the dock and such bc 1. I didn’t ask where it was and 2. We were busy and didn’t stay in too much. All in all, No complaints. Would definitely stay again!Thanks for having us!

Family visit My Mom is from the area and we were visiting her brother. Not only is this house beautiful but the location is perfect for us! This was our second time staying here and would definitely stay again.

A great choice!! This historic mill house has a main house (under renovation) & a large, separate suite which is where we stayed. It was so welcoming, comfortable and clean! Quiet peaceful mini retreat Went to retreat with my wife and enjoyed some time in Roanoke rapids, the home is not too far from restaurants hiking trails and other sights it was quiet and peaceful
