You'll have your own private space with a fully-equipped kitchen, a full dining room, a comfortable living area and two decks. This a great space for a family or even several couples to share. The Slack Tide was the perfect space for our short trip to Acadia. We loved being in the quiet town of Southwest Harbor while also being close enough to explore the sights in Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend the Slack Tide to others, and hope to return again in the future someday.

Great location and great house Perfect size for our family of 5 with room to spare. Fully stocked with everything you need and then some - my kids loved the games. Walkable to restaurants, shops and my morning coffee. A little bit of a drive to Acadia and bar harbor but easy enough to plan and see everything! Host were very accommodating as we were supposed to come in the summer but the delta airlines tech outage forced us to change plans.

Fabulous cozy home This house was perfect for our family of five. Southwest harbor was right next door and had everything we would need. It was great to go out adventuring and have this quiet haven to return to. We will definitely be renting here again on our next trip.

south west harbor the property was spacious and perfectly clean. Location was just a short walk to restaurants and shops .The "quiet side" of MDI lived up to its name.The short drive to park entrance was not a problem and bus service was available if you wanted to leave the car. Not a bad idea in peak season, .

Perfect Location for vacay to Acadia! We selected the house in SW Harbor for the location AND the size, number of bedrooms/baths, since we had two couples. The home is sooo close to everything SW Harbor has to offer, which was great, because we didn't want to have to deal with the congestion of Bar Harbor. The property manager was in communication with us a week or so prior and before our stay to provide info to access the property and let us know when there was a battery needing to be replaced in the front door lock. It wasn't a big deal, since there was another entrance in the back. Parking was abundant. There is some maintenance needed on the house, painting, cleaning, etc which was communicated to the manager.
