Ciflik Winery

This was our third time visiting this place and though the staff was pretty unfriendly before as well, I can finally say they've reached their peak today. The restaurant was crowded and we chose the only available table without knowing it had been reserved previously, because there literally wasn't any visible sign telling people that the table was reserved. A person who I believe is the manager, approached us and rudely told us to leave and when we asked him whether there were other tables avaliable once again he rudely insisted that we should wait elsewhere and clear the table. We did manage to move tables afterwards and had to wait for at least 10 minutes for the waiters to notice us (they looked dour way plenty of times and ignored us). After one of them finally noticed us, my mother politely asked him to clean the table and remove the napkin holder since it was dirty and bring us a new one, to what he just rudely told us off. We have never encountered a worse treatment at a restaurant ever and I can positively say we are never coming back again.

Excellent hotel with wonderful restaurant and great wines. It is not in Bitola and we had a small minibus to drive us there up some variable roads so not sure you could walk it but worth the effort. The breakfast was fantastic and very large portions

Perfect place to stay and eat while in Macedonia. Hotel was immaculate and the service was exceptional. Special thank you to managers on site who could not be more helpful. Restaurant was amazing. A must for any traveler.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was joined by two friends who had never travelled to North Macedonia. After my first night, I knew I had made the right decision for my friends first visit to Bitola. The restaurant staff were extremely courteous and professional. They offer you an opportunity to try wines before you make a decision. The food is of very good quality, great apps and mains. Portion sizes were “balkan” and prices were more than reasonable. We had breakfast included and you had a great variety to choose from! Both western and Macedonian. Their jams are homemade and to die for. One night I ordered the fried cheese with almond crust and covered in a fig jam..wow! Pic included above. So good with a glass of white! Their wines are good, small batch. Although their cheapest white wine (grape starts with a T) is by far their best! Accommodations were perfect, small balcony, nice size bathroom with shower. All modern and new. Television probably had 300 channels! Very comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. The grounds outside are immaculate. I need to point out that the restaurant has two sections. A non smoking section and a separate almost restaurant for smokers, and there are many! Although the non smoking restaurant may look empty, no worries, it’s always busy on the other side. A huge thank you to ALL the staff at Chiflik. I visit Macedonia (and Bitola) at least once a year. The city centre is a $3 CDN or less ride from the hotel. The hotels in the city tend to be loud, air quality not so great and EVERYONE smokes EVERYWHERE! So it was nice to be at Chiflik!

We recently spent three nights here and found the hotel has a lot to commend it. The restaurant was very good and is very much geared to locals & group events; but these did not impact on our stay. Food at the restaurant is good value and very tasty. We were pleased with all we ordered. Only on our last breakfast did they fail to supply the baked bread we ordered, having I guess, ran out. Think of the place as more of a restaurant with rooms, rather than a fully fledged hotel. The waiting staff tend to be young and lack understanding of the menu, plus they never show any acknowledgement of a guest who they see continually. A bit more polishing is required to lift the place to the next level. All in all, we would gladly return. (Be aware there is no lift in case that is important. A/C is also rather weak).

Ειναι μεσα σε εξαιρετικο περιβαλλον στην αρχη δασους στην ακρη της πολης 4χλμ απο το κεντρο δεν πας με τα ποδια ησυχο καθαρο διαθετει εστιατοριο μπαρ μπορεις αν θες να εξυπηρετηθεις απο εκει να μην πας κεντρο μονο να μην τυχει καμμια εδηλωση γαμου γιατι δχει λιγη φασαρια απο τη μουσικη η φυση γυρω ομως σε αποζημιωνει πρωινο οχι σε μπουφε σου δινει επιλογες απο τον καταλογο του εστιατοριου
