My wife and I senior citizens who had a confirmed booking, with full payment made was told that there was no booking. On contacting the number from which at least 4 reminders came for the booking I was told, rudely at that, by one Mr Bashir that there was nothing to be done and we could contact the website from we had booked, which was the hotel website. We were left in the road after full payment months in advance. This is unheard of in the hospitality business. The hotel staff who were very polite and helpful gave us a room and sorted the matter out. While the property in general is good, in the room 209 we were allotted, all the water from the shower cubicle flooded the bathroom. The food was well below acceptable standards. In short it was a Nightmare. Never again at any Clarks'
