High recommend Very welcoming environment lovly staff food and stay was amazing no complaints from our end the veiw was amazing from our balcony sea veiw room was breath taking couldn’t of ask for a better night stay definitely going to book again

During our three-day stay at The St Ives Bay Hotel, we had a memorable and relaxing experience as a couple. Our beach-view room was an absolute delight, offering stunning vistas of the ocean right from our window. The gentle sounds of the waves crashing on the shore were incredibly soothing, making every morning and evening special. The room itself was spacious, providing more than enough room to unwind and truly feel at ease. We appreciated the hotel’s accessibility, with both bus and train services conveniently close by, making it easy for us to explore the charming town of St Ives and its beautiful surroundings. This convenience added an extra layer of ease to our holiday. On top of everything, the hotel’s rates were budget-friendly, offering excellent value for such a great location and amenities. For couples seeking a comfortable and scenic getaway, The St Ives Bay Hotel is a wonderful option that doesn’t break the bank. We’d love to return!

Great location. Basic hotel but can’t complain for the price we paid. The view was amazing over Porthminster Beach and the station, 

The check-in was easy and quick. Paul was very welcoming and helpful. Good experience. The cupboard in the room was not cleaned and could see sticky cup marks.

The location was superb, with easy access to Porthminster Beach and the train station right across from the hotel. There is also a paid parking space available. It’s a 15-minute walk to shops and restaurants, which is convenient. As for the hotel itself, you get what you pay for. The service could use some improvement. Our room wasn’t cleaned daily, and when we arrived, the electric fan, table, and small purple cushion were dusty and dirty. Additionally, our left luggage was stored in the emergency exit area for safekeeping. The staff was okay, but there's room for improvement.

Disappointed with the service provided by the receptionist. There are quite a few staircases where luggage is not a good choice to stay there. Where you will need to carry your luggage up and down. Requested carpark lot but no reply from the hotel. Saw the carpark behind the building that was dedicated to the hotel, but the reception did not mention it. Conclusion; Cleanliness - good Location - good Reception - very bad

The most amazing view from this room. Really great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of St Ives. You get what you pay for with this hotel, although the view is definitely a bonus.

Friendly staff, good sized communal areas and nice view. Single bedroom carpet however quite stained and walls and windows thin so fairly noisy

Great hotel for the price. Decent location- close to the station but a bit far from amenities considering the hilly walk. Clean rooms and big bathrooms. Most hotels in the UK are not properly ventilated so must give them props for breezy rooms.

Very poor service. Cleaning staffs are too adamant and not polite at all. Bathroom is not cleaned properly. Bathroom was stinging.

St Ives Bay is a large hotel which fronts onto Porthminister Beach and the terrace, the rooms are basic but clean and tidy albeit with a slightly dated decor. On my visit, the lift was out of order which made a room on the third floor a bit of a hike (but it's probably better for my health to get the steps in!) The hotel is perfectly positioned if you are using St Ives train station and is only a short stroll from the centre of town. The facilities at the hotel include reception, a bar and a large dining area, there is a car park to the rear (watch out for the birds resting in the rafters and pooping on the cars!) The hotel offers a buffet-style breakfast which includes both continental and full English options. Overall the hotel is good - it looks a bit out of date, saggy and worn but the service provided is good and the views around are fab.

Nice hotel. Location is good. You can see the big sand beach just outside the door.
